Haven't seen it posted anywhere yet, but Boise idaho just shook pretty hard for over 90 seconds and are starting to see immediate aftershocks. Was strong enough that you could hear the earth rumbling. Not very common here.

Hearing it might be an aftershock from SLC last week, but not sure I buy that just yet. Going to see if I can see something on USGS.

Listed as a 6.3 in eastern Idaho...

NE of Boise.

It just rolled through western Montana few minutes ago and shook our house for a bit.

It was felt in Kalisbell and Missoula.

We live in Eagle and it had to be close to us as we could hear the rattling. Going through another aftershock now.. fairly small.

We feel them occasionally here but this one had a lot longer duration than most.

My wife gets a headache before they happen so we were ready.

It was just removed from the USGS map I was looking at.

Weird!!

Hopefully not a fore-shock to bigger ones to come. Don't need anymore disasters right now.

Felt it in Baker City, OR! Holy crap

From Washington, thought I was getting away from these. I was working in Olympia during the Nisqually quake 20 years ago and while that one was bigger, this one brought back the memory.

This is interesting, and a but mysterious. Seems pinning it down has been less than accurate. Keep up the info please..

My wife got an alert... it was updated to a 6.5 a few minutes after.

She has a volcanoes and earthquakes app on her phone... it's a lot quicker then the USGS.

As for people in Missoula and Kalisbell feeling it... that was friends on text.

Why would it be removed from the map?

That is the first time I have seen that for such a large quake and people are reporting it all over the area.

I'm not seeing any aftershocks. You would think 30 minutes after a big one like that, there would be a bunch of aftershocks to follow.
