Just by the language alone last go around we knew it wouldn't be long till they pitched another multi trillion bill.

Phase 4

Looks like this will focus on infrastructure.

Because what could go wrong with spending at a time like this. It's like if I got laid off and went to buy a brand new truck.

What I've yet to see is any significant parts of these bills that address the crisis they blame this all on.

Can't wait to hear the mental gymnastics by the masses who support this crock of sh**.

We're winning.... I imagine we'll spend more than all the post 9/11 wars and the 08' bailout combined. Every last politician in Washington is a shill, even the golden boy. (Massie might get a pass).

The fact that millions of people share this common belief that we can simply conjure up trillions of dollars from nothing and spend frivolously without consequence just goes to show how truly screwed America is.

We are so F'd...

There was no resistance.... Both parties are in on it.

This is just the beginning. Mark my words.

As we talked about last night, this will reign in an economic reset and/or depression. Scary times... the majority aren't saying anything to oppose what is happening

I'm not against addressing the infrastructure, it's something that needs to be done, at the proper time when we allocate funding and balance books.

The precedence being set here is very dangerous. At least in 08' people were pissed. This is dwarfing that, and all I hear is crickets.

One day we'll have a worse problem on our hands, and we'll have sold off every tool to deal with it.

Somehow they've found a way to conjure up over $24 trillion in debt, so I'm sure they will have zero issue adding a couple more trillion onto the pile... By 2030, the US debt is expected to eclipse $36 trillion... so it looks like they ship aint slowing down...The number is so large, normal people cant make sense of this... its impossible to equate to an individuals personal finances, because any one person couldn't be this much in debt (in relative terms) while continuing to get money every year to survive...

Heard on Glen beck earlier that, the one that just got passed initially Chucky Schumer only wanted 750 billion... and it ended up 2 trillion.

Now we are looking at another 2 trillion god only knows where it will end up.

Haven’t you heard?

If you question the trillions being spent, you want people to die of the virus!

Now is the time for blind obedience!

I think a crash is the best thing to happen. We've grown so comfortable and complacent. Between the virus and an economic crash it should make people stop taking things for granted. At this point who cares if it crashes? I mean, we were in an unpayable amount of debt before the crisis, we'll be in an unpayable debt after the crisis. If the majority of American (they won't) rose to the occasion after the crash we might be able to save our country from bankers.

Great time to fix the highways....not many people using them....it will be so much cheaper.

Won't work here though, frost is still deep and three and a half foot high snowbanks all over the place. The cities had to get permission from the state to fix the potholes in the roads. Who are they going to infect patching a pothole, a gopher?

yeah this is just like 2008 all over again but with a virus.
the people are so brainwashed they still think this is all because of the virus.

It's easier to fool someone than to convince them they have been fooled.

Republicans and Democrats both run by the head in the middle.

The collapse of the economy will cause far more death and destruction than this virus.

As dark as your post sounds, you might be onto something.

I remember my grandpa (whom grew up during the depression) talked about how his town had a shooting competition around Thanksgiving. First place got a turkey, second place got the stump to get the lead.

That generation has to be rolling in their grave after the sacrifice they went through just to see us buckle. The whole nation scream for a 1,200 dollar check even though only a few parts even shut down.

All because the thoughts of having to get rid of one of our three vehicles, downsize a house, reevaluate the 5 lines with the latest iPhone family plans...

But most of all, the fact that our whole country is so addicted to consuming, we're all leveraged in debt to make us piss our pants at the thought of having to live within our true means.

Being leveraged out your ass isn't a right... It's a free market service when there is a supply and demand.

I've been bitching for years... But I didn't think I'd see true madness like this so soon.

I thought it would be death by a thousand cuts... Not one blow.

I agree

To me the fact so many “conservatives”, people who have spent years warning of government power and spending now not only being for it, but calling out anyone who disagrees shows just how much we have lost

I think it’s time to be honest

The people lost, the establishment won

I’ll keep fighting, but it’s time to be honest about how complete of a victory this is for the corrupt establishment

It is pretty sad.

Unfortunately, people talk a good game until the rubber meets the road.

COVIDiots will not only swallow anything they're told to in the name of Coronavirus, they'll also stand and fight those who have an degree of thoughtful pause in the face of Master's "solutions."

I just want to say to the Asstablishment, as a grateful little bootlicker, I am so happy that my government masters will wrap me up in a warm blanket of socialism and take care of me from now on. It's the American way after all.

Social distancing to help prevent the spread of the Virus.

Hospitals certainly aren't empty, infact just in San Antonio, we've had THREE(3) new cases pop up in 24hrs in our Zip code alone, nevermind the other areas, those will be published in local media pretty soon.

Small business closed as a result of trying to contain the spread of the Virus, Big Gov will help with the bills in the meantime. *While we should be already prepared, that's not always the case and most certainly agaisnt a first ever living history, Modern day pandemic with a death toll looking to hit 100k here in the states 😐

Wasn't the US already Walmartazon?
