all joking aside - when people say tanks - they should mean TANKS - not some random green thing

if people get so sloppy - that " tank " = synonym for almost any green military vehicle - there will come a time in a future conflict - when2 opposing general orders " send in the tanks " - and one of thier suborinates sends real tanks - and the other sends " not tanks " - and a bloodbath occurs

It's not the ones that know a Bradley from a Striker that call everything tanks, usually. It's the ones that call everyone in uniform soldiers, and every vehicle of a certain size a humvee.
