Compared to the good old AK-47, the Russians didn't necesarilly want an accurate weapon, but a reliable weapon.

So why did they replace the M21 with the M24?

more of Marksman's gun as opposed to the m-24 which is a true sniper rifle(and has sub moa stats to boot).
