"Screw you, rural New Yorkers! Even though I've been telling that the plague will strike you down just as hard any day now, I'm plundering everything I want from your pitiful little hospital ... I'll pay you for it though because that money will certainly take the place of the equipment no one has."
What a lovely message for your governor to be sending you ...
But this is how socialism works. No one asks you. They just take it, and no one considers what your needs may or may not be.

Governor Cuomo, if you had done your job in February, instead of DEFYING the HHS/TrumpAdmin Covid-19 warnings, there'd be LESS BLOOD on your hands.

The anti-American MSMedia want everyone to think Covid-19 is very deadly, even though statistics says that it isn't.
It is apparently very serious for a particular demographic. I'm trying to figure that part out.
Health - vital health - is much more than just the absence of symptoms/disease, and the biggest thing this event is revealing is that the vast majority of people, in this country and elsewhere, are not very healthy, with very weak immune systems.

Because the .1-.3% case fatality rate is clearly showing a vast majority of not very healthy people with very weak immune systems.
To be a majority it would have to be 51%, to be a vast Majority it would have to be 70% or more.
This is showing the vast majority of people are actually healthy with good and strong immune systems. That's why ~88% of people who get it are asymptomatic.

In February Trump & Co. was downplaying the entire thing. As late as Feb 27th Trump told everyone “It’s going to disappear, one day it’s like a miracle, it will disappear.”
Gov. Cuomo doubled down Sunday on the state’s controversial directive ordering nursing homes to admit COVID-19 patients.
The governor — who himself has described nursing homes as a “feeding frenzy’’ for the deadly coronavirus — said that the facilities can’t challenge a state regulation forcing them to admit patients with the contagion.
New York state is now reporting more than 1,700 previously undisclosed deaths at nursing homes and adult care facilities as the state faces scrutiny over how it’s protected vulnerable residents during the coronavirus pandemic.
At least 4,813 residents with confirmed or presumed cases of COVID-19 have died at 351 of New York’s 613 nursing homes since March 1, according to Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s administration’s new list. The list, released late Monday, includes the reported number of both confirmed and presumed deaths as of Sunday evening.
More than 4,300 recovering coronavirus patients were sent to New York’s already vulnerable nursing homes under a controversial state directive that was ultimately scrapped amid criticisms it was accelerating the nation’s deadliest outbreaks, according to a count by The Associated Press.
Cuomo, a Democrat, on May 10 reversed the directive, which had been intended to help free up hospital beds for the sickest patients as cases surged. But he continued to defend it this week, saying he didn’t believe it contributed to the more than 5,800 nursing and adult care facility deaths in New York — more than in any other state — and that homes should have spoken up if it was a problem.

It's universally agreed that New York City continues to be the #1 U.S. Target of every Terrorist and Aspiring-Terrorist leader on the planet.
The Governor of New York has said so repeatedly...
The state’s governor told New Yorkers what they already know: attacks like this one are inevitable in a city that is a permanent target for anti-American terrorists.
“This is New York,” Andrew Cuomo, the New York state governor, said Monday. “The reality is that we are a target by many who would like to make a statement against democracy, against freedom. We have the Statue of Liberty in our harbor, and that makes us an international target. We understand that.”
In early 2019 New York governor Andrew Cuomo declared:
"As we've seen time and again, terrorism is an ever-present threat, and we will do everything in our power to help ensure that New Yorkers are safe from whatever extremists try to send our way," Governor Cuomo said.
"In order to continue to combat this changing and complex threat to New York, we will take concrete steps to implement the recommendations from our bipartisan national experts."
After the Trump Administration had already declared a Public Health Emergency, due to CoronaVirus-19 on January 31, 2019: www.hhs.gov...
New York officials still didn't take the threat seriously...and (without evidence) say even if Covid-19 does turn out to be something, New York is READY.

2.) Governor Cuomo..."We are Ready!"
We would expect as time goes on that we will find a case of Coronavirus in New York, if you look at the spread of it around the world, we would expect that, and we are prepared for that.
We have taken a lot of time to put protocols in place and quarantine procedures, et cetera.
We went through this before: Zika virus, Ebola, et cetera.
But let's have some connection to the reality of the situation, catching the flu right now is a much greater risk than anything that has anything to do with Coronavirus.
Yet a relatively minor "attack" from the Covid-19 virus, brings the state of New York and New York City to their knees.
The coronavirus has wreaked havoc on New York City’s economy, sending bedrock industries into a tailspin, and dragging a city budget from years of record growth into near chaos, within less than a week.

CHAOS within NYC City Hall: www.nydailynews.com...< br />
Rather than take self-responsibility for not preparing adequately for ANY kind of successful "attack", the Governor of New York, and mayor of New York City (Bill de Blasio), blame the person they have spoken negatively about since his inauguration in January 2017, U.S. President Donald J. Trump.
In reality, the #1 Terrorist Target in the USA was not ready for a bio-attack of any kind. Maybe in hindsight, Covid-19 will have been the wake-up call New York City needed...and all other portions of the USA will learn lessons from.
