If we just sat back and let it run it's course it could well be.

Not ever, not even with sitting back.

I think you're a little obsessed with this. This is what, the third thread you've created for a discussion similar to this?

I think you're a little obsessed with Grambler; And with trying to censor anything that smacks of disagreement with your "chosen one"

and be advised if Grambler gets sick there are plenty of real Patriots waiting to take up where he left off. We will not allow the Bill or Rights and the Constitution to be used as Fauxservatives toilet paper.

Really? I'd say you're just a bit off in your assessment. Not in any post or thought have I EVER said it would be ok to trample on the Constitution, just the opposite. Your hatred of all things conservative really clouds your vision at times.

Really, considering this you don't have much credibility. This is going to be just like the Patriot act and you know it.

What Halwest clearly didn't say was that all diseases should be treated the same.

We don't try stopping diabetes with social distancing in much the same way we don't treat viruses with antibiotics.

Why differentiate? If we're going to piss on the Constitution, destroy the economy and livelihoods why the **** does it matter what disease it is? Shouldn't we be targeting the most dangerous one? If we are it isn't this one.

You did say 'or any other disease'. The quote is accurate.

As an 'expat' your rendition of Citizens cultural behavior is suspect at best. Conveying Americans as buffoons will garner you no credibility.a reply to: lakenheath24

You don't need to be so quick to refute, I just saw that and fixed it. I'm not the bad guy here.

What part of the Constitution is being pissed on? As far as I know the federal government hasn't tried to take away any rights.

The estimate for deaths in the US if completely unchecked was 2.2 million.

That's about 4 times the deaths of Spanish flu in the US or about the same per capita.

Is it. You want examples? There are loads... Just pick a state for me to excoriate.
As a US citizen, veteran, and expat... I can say I have a broad perspective. The truth hurts.....

Do you like the Patriot act. This will follow that same template and never be rescinded. It's an established pattern. Boil that frog...
