I pretty sure I make too much to qualify for my $1000...or whatever...but my wife thinks she'll get some.
She plans on donating it to the local food bank.
Neither of us have lost any income due to the Chinese Virus.

...if anything, we've saved money by not eating out.

I'm not expecting a check, but if we do get one, we'll spend it the same way.

My hospital has "asked" every director to put in 7 days a week until the crisis passes. We're working fewer hours per day, and much of it at home, but we're expected to be on-site each and every day just for the rest of the employees.

So we're not the ones who actually need help.

Please fill me in. How exactly s our country destroyed, what is being added to this not yet passed legislation that has you screaming the sky is falling?? I am at work on break, what have I missed from yesterday??

If I'm reading what they're proposing correctly, you both get one check or nothing at all. Cut off threshold is 150K for married couples and 75K for single.

I guess unless you file taxes separately.
