So I have made several thread and particpated in several more lambasting our government, including trump, for destorying the economy and locking huge parts of the country down without answerung basic questions.

See the questions on the top part of the OP for a just a few we should have all demanded they answer.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

For my stance of demanding answers to basic questions before destroying the economy and locking people down, here are just a few things my fellow trump supporters have said about me

I am a secret democrat and always have been

I am shilling for the media

I am a never trumper

I want to see old people die

I am just taking my stance to get more viewers on my youtube channel

I dont understand math

It would be bad for trump to go against state governors.

And on and on. All of this for questioning destroying the economy and locking people down

Well some other people have questioned whteher or not this loss of civil liberties and destroying the economy was worth it. Ron Paul, nah all the trump supporters criticizing nme say he sucks. Same ith his son Rand

Well now a new politician is questioning it.

The mans name? Donald Trump

Only hours before the surgeon general’s dire warning, Trump suggested in a tweet that the remedies may be more harmful than the outbreak in a tweet that contradicted the advice of medical experts across the nation.

“WE CANNOT LET THE CURE BE WORSE THAN THE PROBLEM ITSELF,” he wrote, adding: “AT THE END OF THE 15 DAY PERIOD, WE WILL MAKE A DECISION AS TO WHICH WAY WE WANT TO GO!”

apnews.com...

I cant wait for the same trump supporters who said those things of me to come here and say them of trump for questioning this.

He must want sick people to die, right? he must not be able to do math! He shouldnt question state governors. He must be a secret democrat never trumper, right?

Trump would be right to do what he can to reverse the damage, but as far as Im concerned its and admission of indefensible negligence on his part. The time for asking these questions and giving answers to the american people was BEFORE the lockdowns and crashing of the economy.

But hey, this is better than leaving it go on (as far as I am concerned this is all bluster though until he actually changes course)

But hes questioning whether the solution is worse than the problem, and trump supporters on this verty site have attacked me for that same thing, so lets see them come out here and call out trump.

I wont hold my breath.

I don't really understand your logic here? Pretty much everyone in support has been calling for a temporary lockdown, not a permanent lockdown. And Trump here appears to be saying it will only be a temporary lockdown - not a permanent lockdown. In other words, confirmation it is what people wanted.

As i'm clearly missing whatever you are seeing, could you possibly explain please?

As a socialist-loving, big government lapdog I am appalled by his comments. I am really, really askeert and I want the government to tell me exactly what to do and then fix the economy by bailing out big corporations.

To be 100% honest....

I can't make any comments one way or the other. The only thing I can say about all of this is just.... 'Wow'. I really don't know what to think about it. It's all a real shock - doesn't quite seem real.

1st day working from home. I guess 'real' is going to start sitting in soon.

Isn't it obvious?

Trump hates the president.

I think this shut-down has benefitted us. When the NBA shut down, it showed that people weren't missing watching an inning or two of hockey.

How can anyone argue that Trump's early flight ban and 'shelter-in-place' recommendations has NOT slowed the spread and saved American lives?

As for full state lockdowns?---those orders come directly from states' governors.

Trump, like the people who follow him is an opportunist. When communism is what helps him and his billionaire donors, that’s what it is. When calling everyone that disagrees with him communist helps him, that’s what it is.

And the thing is, he never has to worry about losing support when changing with whatever way the wind blows. Because his followers only loyalty is to him, not any set of principles.

That’s it. That’s why this site is filled with so-called “small government people” who are arguing till they’re blue in the face in favor of a person who is now nationalizing industry and forcing smaller businesses to close their doors. Not to mention secretly asking Congress for the ability to detain people indefinitely without trial.

I guess we’ll see which way the wind blows tomorrow.

No pretty much everyone in support that i am referncing in the op has been saying its immoral to question if the lockdown was necessary

Again, I never said it wasnt, I said we should weigh the harms of destroying the economy and infringing on our rights against the virus, and therefore we should have basic questions answered before we accepted it.

We never got those answers, and the people I am referencing said all of the things i mentioned in the op about me because i dared to demand they be answered before this actions was taken

so please explain to me how the situation has changed that its now ok for trump to question it?

We

Governors endorsed explicitly or tacitly by trump.

To mee seems like trump has the right of it. See where we are in 2 weeks. Sanctuary states are shut down other states starting to follow. See how the flu plays out there isn't much else to do but sit back and watch the government screw it up like everything else.

Is there any scenario that would warrant this sort of action in your eyes? If not for a fast spreading virus/pandemic, then what?

WTF? No one has called for a 'permanent lock-down'. People are just twisting themselves into pretzels in order to rationalize the Administration's complete FUBAR handling of this situation. Back in January when they were having meetings after receiving dire warnings from experts and other governments of what was coming they decided to do nothing and tell people it would be a 'miracle' and just go away. It's in the Public Record. It's undeniable and indefensible. Period. Your boy f'd-up. Man-up and own it. While Donald was lying to the American people (or maybe he wasn't lying... maybe he actually IS that stupid) his BFF Vlad was doing large-scale testing and isolation. And look what happened. Russia, despite its intimate trade ties with China and huge shared border, is having a relatively small outbreak compared to most of the rest of the world. Maybe if Donald & Company had staffed the Administration with experts instead of sycophants and actually LISTENED to them we wouldn't be in the #.

We should shut down the country while spending trillions of extra dollars.

I don't see what could go wrong.

(disclaimer, that's not all on Trump... But Jesus, if people refuse to set aside towing a line to question issues at hand right now, we're doomed. When we act out of haste or fear, we can rise above it or sink the ship. This is one of the most important times in recent history)

...I agree with the governors' state lockdown orders too.
Does THAT make me ultimately responsible for them?

I need to get one more prescription for my husband filled. We
have been staying indoors since this started and he is already
in the early stages of cabin fever!

Yea I don't really understand how Trump has anything to do with decisions on a state by state basis. It's the states that initiate lockdown.
