Russian People Line

Commentary by famous Russian political scientist Vladislav Shurygin:

These kind of people are part of a group of epidemiologists not just "for show". The assumption of my virologist friend, which I posted a couple of days ago, that a new “mutation” of the coronavirus flared up in Italy may very well be true ...

On the other hand, most of our patients (in Russia) have precisely the Italian "source" ...

I've been saying it for a few days. They're experiencing a 10% mortality rate. It has mutated.

No at this time I do not think the virus mutated. And if it did it would mutate into something less deadly.
Don't forget the population in Italies most infected areas are mainly older people. Unfortunately, they suffer underlying illnesses which makes them a easy prey for the virus.

A Thai Doctor has said the Italian CORID-19 is not the same as the bug that first hit Thailand. You hear that Italy's population is older etc etc thus their high death rate... but the Doctor says this is a mutated virus which has a higher morality rate with those infected. newsletter.thaivisa.com...

He said that at first Thailand had 30-40 cases and one death and there was little change for many weeks, reported Thai Rath. Thais who were infected had got a milder strain prevalent in other parts of Asia like Japan, South Korea and Hong Kong.

He said that a relative of a person in the boxing fraternity who had been to Italy started the spread of the Italian strain of the virus.

The person in the boxing fraternity was a "super spreader" who infected 50 people at Lumpinee and these have gone on to infect others resulting in a rapid rise and rapid expansion in the location of cases in Thailand.

He said that this strain is much more severe and has a far higher mortality rate because of its ability to cause onset of severe respiratory disease and even heart related problems.

He pointed to the fact that in Italy there had been 47,021 cases and 4,032 deaths or 8.6%. By comparison in South Korea 8,799 had been infected with only 102 deaths making the death rate just 1.1%.

Ten Questions for the U.S.: Where did the Novel Coronavirus Come From?

Question 7

Japan, South Korea, Italy and Iran all reported that many of their first COVID-19 confirmed cases had no exposure history with China but showed connection with the United States. How come?

Genetic research shows that the type of novel coronavirus found in China belongs to Group C, but Group A and Group B viruses – Group C’s parental and grand parental viruses – are both found in the United States. Why? A Japanese patient was diagnosed with influenza in Hawaii but was tested positive for COVID-19 when he returned to Japan. How to explain that?

Some COVID-19 cases in the U.S. had no connection with China whatsoever. So where does it come from?

Has it mutated or Is it the same but is designed to attack a certain blood type which is more
Prevalent in Italy ?

Interesting comment, I had to research it and I found the tid bit.

Blood groups by country

Amazing how the the UK and the USA have very similar stats, and you can certainly group others and perhaps follow ancient trails of genealogy....

Stop spreading Chinese and Russian propaganda, there is enough of that crap and all you're going to do is piss people off. (maybe that's your intent with Troll in your name?)

It did not originate from anything but China. The Lunar New Year and 5 million Chinese tourists floating around the globe is what spread this. Look at this map of the spread animate the spread and clearly it was from Chinese travelers as every major airport was hit at exactly the same time as the travel window for Chinese New Year.

The easiest way to be an ostrich is to hide your head in the sand, declare everything around as enemy propaganda and never think about the facts.

Then you should add the disclaimer from your SOURCE that you posted:

GTN Editor’s note: The article is an edited version of an article which was first published on a WeChat official account named Gong Yi Kan Shi Jie. The article reflects the author’s opinions and does not necessarily reflect the views of CGTN.
.
Given that some major U.S. media and politicians made groundless claims that the novel coronavirus originates in China, blamed and slandered China, even asked for an apology from China, then I have every reason to ask 10 questions for the United States about its origin too. Better still, unlike the U.S., I did a lot of homework and will base my questions on international media coverage of COVID-19.

You are posting speculation from a Chinese WeChat account?

An ostrich would put its head in the sand when it's being fed bulls**it. Check your sources before you post and spread misinformation from Chinese propaganda.

Kind of difficult to argue the 'non-China' origin of this after seeing the data.

I also understand the data are not 100% nor could they be unless you tested every human on the planet, every day for the same period. Still, China seems like the origin.

In China, 1.5 billion people, in Russia another 160 million. Do you really think that all these people think that any publication in the American press is malicious enemy propaganda?
My friend, in all civilized countries this is called paranoia

There's a difference between an authentic, well-respected or well-researched source or publication, and an article re-posted from a WeChat user within the most controlled and propaganda driven nation in the world.

It has nothing to do with paranoia, unless you're talking about what you posted.

That "article" is about as reliable as a 4 week weather forecast.

I'm not suggesting America doesn't have its own propaganda. I'm suggesting that if you are going to post speculative links from unreliable sources with disclaimers that it is an OPINION from a WeChat user, you should carry that information forward in your links and sources and not pretend that it's reliably sourced information. That is spreading misinformation and by extension, being an arm of the Chinese propaganda machine.

You are not helping anything by doing that.

In Russia, scientists have created and tested vaccines for at least three types of this coronavirus - Chinese, Iranian and Italian. When it comes to people's lives, any propaganda is inappropriate. We understand that coronovirus cannot be cured with one tweet, no matter who it is. By deceiving yourself you can easily die.
