So I wake up this morning, look at my phone and I see this news in my notifications:

What I'd like to know is why they're handing out blankets with the all seeing eye on black-and-white colors.

Is this a state/city symbol or something like that?

Not the state/city symbol but it is weird even for Utah...

Who is handing them out exactly?

The state symbol for Utah is an old fashioned beehive...

And yes, quite odd with the symbology depicted.... actually very weird to me.

There are a lot of strong Masonic ties in Utah....for what it is worth.

Yeah, the LDS Church has borrowed much of it's temple and priesthood rituals from the Masons. Their prophet and founding father Joseph Smith was a Mason I believe.
