I don't know what to think about this, so allow me to pick your brains.

A guy working in the entertainment industry has a gofundme thing going, because of the corona pandemic. So far all is well, nothing to worry.
What bothers me is he has a networth of approximately 6 million. I'm sure he can survive 2 or even 6 months without income, right?
Even if he has 15 people depending on him, that would still mean they could each spend 67.000 each month for six months before he goes broke.

So...uh help the... uh needy? Never let a good opportunity to rip off some teenage hormone zombies and affiliates go to waste.
Am I the only one who thinks this is a bit... shameless?

I agree , in a way.
Sometimes "net worth" doesn't mean cash on hand.
I don't know this person's circumstances .
But I will say , if I had a net worth of 6 million , I would not worry about finances.
Man , that sounded too middle of the road .

What’s his reason for needing it?

To pay his "family" because they can't do shows.

I don't know it feels like begging in a Valentino suit...

He's in the entertainment industry... that's vague.

Is he an actor?

Or does he own a movie studio?

Because if he's an actor, the only thing he needs to make money is himself.

If he does something that requires a bunch of equipment and upkeep and pays salaries, then net worth means nothing.

I own 4.2 million dollars of equipment as of the beginning of this year.

I most certainly do NOT have 4.2 million sitting around.

And selling the equipment means I make nothing.

So yea... it really depends on his circumstances.
