BTW, it does matter a great deal what response democrats/socialists would have made. What you are claiming is that it doesn't matter that most, if not all, democrats wanted to stop the travel ban from China, Iran, and other areas hard hit by the virus. The U.S. would be in much deeper trouble as we would have had a lot more people in the U.S. infected.

I am not defending anything the dems have, or wanted to do, or not do.

What I thought was irresponsible was the minimising of it, it's nothing, we'll be over it in a few weeks, then, that all the "fuss" was a hoax to get him. Then he was being interviewed, and he stated again, it's nothing, and that people are getting sick, and probably going to work, and that was meh..ok, no harm(not exact words but the sentiment)

That is my criticism, his presser yesterday was a different tone, he referred to experts, was communicating well, I thought he did a good job..I have no problem calling it how I see it.

The initial response by President Trump had a lot to do with the false claims from China that under-reported the amount of cases of infected and dead. To this day the CCP lies about these numbers.

Just like many other Americans, President Trump doesn't know completely what countries like China do to hide factual information. He was being given bad advice. He can only work with the information he is given, and nothing more.

President Trump was being given information which was wrong. Not to mention that democrats/socialists have minimized this threat not only from the beginning, but even now that we have more information from European countries, and others, which puts in better perspective the real threat from this virus.

Even after knowing the facts, even thou they keep denying it, democrats/socialists wanted to stop the travel ban from China and Iran that President Trump wanted implemented.

Yeah, well unfortunately politics does play a huge role in our society and our liberties/freedom, as well as our responsibilities.
