So what your saying is your initial thought is that I have a problem?

I think your problem is that you are NOT stockpiling.
Booze and bullets will be the new currency if it all goes to hell.
Which is why I learned how to make my own beer, wine, cider and... stuff.
Although brand labels would be the new gold...

Drinking actually increases your susceptibility to viral infection.
It inhibits your T cells from responding to viruses properly.
Facts
So if I am self-isolated in the middle of 400 acres in the middle of 3 million acres that has 1,000 people in it, the virus is going to... what exactly?
Parachute in?
Or is it a ninja?
By the sounds of your stockpile, it will probably show up to take a break from ravaging the world and want a drink and to just relax.

That we can certainly agree on.
I guess I just don't want to go out and buy 500 dollars worth of booze.....I've been pretending to quit drinking for the past 3 months......

If the end of the world is upon us, I will open up a bar for the locals.
It will be called the Mud Pit.

Deflection?
I was talking about how drinking increases your ability to be infected.
Which is a fact.
It even damages your brain resulting in decreased cognitive performance as exemplified by your response.

It was funny for a second till my synapses fired and reminded me how many lives have been destroyed by drinking.
Then I decided to remind everyone how dumb an idea drinking really is especially when fighting viral infection.

I'm coming to self-isolate with you. I don't care if we're politically polar. I have like 20 acres, but I like native american ninja chicks.
(aside, since i was a pre-teen i've always been fascinated with NA culture. even wanted to join the cherokee tribe and learn the langage when i was like 13. my friend and i were all into that).

I also wonder how long the guy stood there, with TP in one hand and the 10 dollars in the other. Looking back and forth at them, then occasionally glancing at the beer.
I bet it was an epic battle of will.

I wonder how hard he tried to convince his irate wife it was really all for medicinal purposes because alcohol is a disinfectant when he got home.
