I've been saying this for a while as I've had Clients that have had a single bout of this for 24 hours, no reason at all why they should. Then a little while later they get an irritating scratchy throat, bit of sinus.....anyway.....all info and possible symptoms are worth knowing.

Yes, and thankfully, the CFR is still going down (down to @ 1.5% now), and will only get lower as testing proceeds.

Why is everyone ignoring Germanys numbers, which have remained consistently the lowest, at a mere 0.2% CFR? There should be loud, unending serious questions being asked, until an answer is found. Are they lying? Are they inflating their 'confirmed' cases to keep the CFR low?

Incidentally, in the US, apparently (can't remember where I read it but it was authoritative) it is testing that is consuming the vast majority of our medical resources right now - and 99% of tests are coming back negative, which means - at least I don't see any other way to read this - 99% of tests and associated resources are being wasted, so either whoever is deciding who should be tested is using extremely bad criteria to make that determination, or a whole lot of people - maybe all of the pseudo-elitites (politicians, their families, and the Hollywood pedos) - are insisting on being tested out of fear, rather than a real suspicion that they were exposed to WuFlu.

Separately: someone mentioned a “cure”...I don’t look at chloroquine as a cure, Moreso a potential treatment to minimize impact and speed up recovery time. Similar to say tamiflu

Yeah... no, tamiflu only treats symptoms, hydroxychloroquine, according to the study, was dramatically effective at reducing viral load, minimizing damage and allowing for full recovery of all of the patients it was used on.

Not absolute proof, but very promising.

I still wish they'd do the same thing with high dose IV Vitamin C. They'd likely get much better results, and it would be way cheaper, and easier to administer (so, not just Doctors, but EMTs, nurses, basically anyone licensed to administer IVs can do it).

Vindication... meh, feels kind of empty after all the criticism I faced.

Trump really missed a shot at coming out of this a hero.

Now the Chinese will take the lions share of the credit - but it isn't too late to look really good, if he picks up on this and demands that the CDC/FDA/AMA roll this out to all hospitals and Doctors offices.

And they should absolutely not limit it to only treatment for COVID-19, since Vitamin C has been shown in controlled studies to have amazing benefits - even orally, in large enough amounts - against influenza, pneumonia, etc.

Two Excerpts from the above NIH study:

From the Abstract:
"Two controlled trials found a statistically significant dose–response,
for the duration of common cold symptoms, with up to 6–8 g/day of
vitamin C. Thus, the negative findings of some therapeutic common cold
studies might be explained by the low doses of 3–4 g/day of vitamin C.
Three controlled trials found that vitamin C prevented pneumonia. Two
controlled trials found a treatment benefit of vitamin C for pneumonia
patients. One controlled trial reported treatment benefits for tetanus
patients. The effects of vitamin C against infections should be
investigated further."

And from the Conclusions (scroll way down):

"From a large series of animal studies we may conclude that vitamin C
plays a role in preventing, shortening, and alleviating diverse
infections. It seems evident that vitamin C has similar effects in
humans. Controlled studies have shown that vitamin C shortens and
alleviates the common cold and prevents colds under specific conditions
and in restricted population subgroups. Five controlled trials found
significant effects of vitamin C against pneumonia. There is some
evidence that vitamin C may also have effects on other infections, but
there is a paucity of such data. The practical importance and optimally
efficacious doses of vitamin C for preventing and treating infections
are unknown. Vitamin C is safe and costs only pennies per gram, and
therefore even modest effects may be worth exploiting."

Again - these studies were all based on oral ingestion, and all use comparatively low doses. Studies that showed no or low activity used extremely low doses (half a gram and less).

Now we have the Chinese studies on high dose IV Vitamin C, proving it's safety and efficacy against the WuFlu - and defacto, lots of other things like influenze, pneumonia - pretty much and/all bacterial and viral infections.

President Trump, please demand that the CDC/FDA/AMA get out of the fracking way, and roll this out to all hospitals, Doctors offices, and the planned Wal-Mart drive-thru COVID-19 testing facilities, and we can stop all of the insanity and re-open the world economy.

Let the stock market/economy rebound commence!

No need to go to a hospital and incur that kind of extreme expense.

Note: I am not recommending anyone try vitamins via IV outside of a hospital or Doctors office setting.

Anyone licensed to give IVs - EMT,s RNs (nurses), etc - can provide these, either in a Doctors office or other legal setting where licensed Physicians can oversee the practice, which can dramatically lower the cost.

You aren't getting the Vit. C hit required from Oral supplements.

You actually can get close to these results, if you orally dose high enough. The dosages used in the studies I've cited used 6-8 grams (6,000 to 8,000mgs) per day, but it is extremely safe even in much higher doses. For example, I'm currently taking 25grams (25,000mgs) per day, in 4 or 5 doses, and have been for about a month. I'd rather have a little diarrhea than a cold or flu.

Just sayin'... Not a common cold or flu.

Doesn't matter - high dose IV Vitamin C is extremely effective against virtually all bacterial/viral infections, from MERS/Staph, to influenza/pneumonia. And now the Chinese have proven the same for COVID-19.

Warning, personal vent/rant ahead...

Hopefully, this will mark the end of the government(FDA)/medical(AMA)/pharmaceutical industrial complex's unlawful monopoly on health care we have all suffered under for the last 90 odd years.

And yes, they've known about it all along, but the big pharma controlled medical establishment doesn't want to use it because there is no money in it, so let's not let them get away with their crimes against humanity by refusing to acknowledge and actively suppressing this and other natural therapies.

WHO CARES ABOUT THE CFR????

the for profit American health system is about to be overwhelmed by the Coronavirus . PPE WILL RUN OUT. WE DONT HAVE THE NECESSARY ICU BEDS OR VENTILATORS. WE DO NOT HAVE SURPLUS MEDICAL WORKERS.

New York is already saying they will run out of PPE in 2-3 weeks and the cdc is already lowering the threshold for requirements for PPE. Our doctors and nurses and others will be wearing scarfs and handkerchiefs before you know it.

Let’s admit this is a serious event and get over this hard on for the CFR. That number will take years to figure out geeze!

Not only the politicians, but the wife of the Chairman of the NY Stock Exchange sold millions of dollars worth of stock that she co-owned with her husband.... after that phone call happened.

Astonishing that someone in that position would risk charges of insider trading.
