In South America is summer now and the virus is spreading well.

I didn't say it wouldn't spread, but it hasn't spread at the rates you would expect given the conditions on the ground in much of South America.

I would say the climate has slowed it considerably for it to be behaving like it's in a modern 1st world nation, instead of a second world nation with questionable hygiene and vast slums like Brazil still is in many places.

Italy had a shortage of doctors to begin and about 30% of their population was 60 or older (or in the higher risk groups to develop severe cases of this illness). Those two things alone put them in a difficult position.

In December I read a retread report (from 2018) that certain narrow spectrum far-UVC lights were proven effective against H1N1 and other virus threats.

Yeah well it has never before been so evident. Look at China, look at Italy, the U.S. has called this a pandemic. The U.S. nation wide has taken measures such as closing schools, sporting events, meetings, schools etc.

One would have to be pretty damn stupid and oblivious to not see this thing by now. Its here, it is upon us. A month ago people were calling me a fearmonger, to them I say commence your crow eating now.
