I agree we all lie some of the time, and that some people don't know how to tell the truth. I am just not sure who is being some-what honest in this regard.

That's a fair point in this country, I guess. But can we really say for certain that China isn't lying, using their power/media to hide facts?

China will say anything to avoid looking weak.
So yeah, it's a safe bet they are not telling the whole story.

Sure, CWM, I trust stats. Here is the Johns Hopkins site that tracks the world CV-19, but I don't know who is being honest in their stats.

For example- do we really believe the numbers from the ChiComs?

And sadly, we here in the U.S. have to be more transparent than they do, which makes for a larger economic impact.

I don't trust anyone who tries to manipulate me through fear.

At this stage of my life, I don't do a whole lot of socializing. On an average month, I might interact with about a dozen people, if that. I'm pretty healthy for my age. I feel pretty safe from this virus. But I'm going to make an effort to get out more. I figure if I'm going to get this virus, I'd rather get it sooner than later.

Maybe I won't get it, maybe I will. It may do nothing to me. It may make me sick. It may even kill me. But one thing this virus will not do is make me live in fear.

I think I have a better chance of dying from getting hit in the back of the head with a pool stick or beer bottle.

ON a serious note, one thing that I hate hearing from all parties is that I need to avoid this virus, when in reality I'd rather be in the first few hundred than the last few thousand. It seems to me that I would get the healthcare, or at least better access to it, if that were the case.

Both of them lie with anything and everything, they lie to us in ways that suit their own ever changing agenda.
They both flip flop on issues depending on whom they wish to gain support from or a group they wish to demonize, and it works for both because people won't usually look for opposing views or positions.
