Alex Jones Arrested for DWI in Texas

Far-right conspiracy theorist and radio host Alex Jones was booked for a DWI at Travis County Jail and charged with driving while intoxicated just after midnight Tuesday, the Travis County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to TheWrap.

Jones, 46, was booked at 12:37 a.m., said Kristen Dark, spokeswoman for the sheriff’s office. The driving while intoxicated charge is a class B misdemeanor, she said.

Dark added that his bail was set at $3,000 but he was released on a personal recognizance bond at 4:11 a.m. this morning.

Had a good chuckle at your suggestions... but yes, it does sound like he needs some sort of intervention. If I remember right, he did have some drug issues in the past.

He sounds like he is half drunk on his shows. That is Alex, if the cop knew he always acted that way, he probably would not have even given him the beathilizer test. I suppose his breath smelled like alcohol.

If Jones was super hydrated, he could fail for substances yea? But he always acts crazy, so their assessment of him appearing impaired shouldn't count as probable cause.

Or something like that.

Trying to figure out if the "I" in "DWI" stands for "intoxicated" or "insane".

Yessir, an intervention is absolutely requjred. No sane person ever gets done driving while intoxicated. And anyone who drinks has serious mental and emotional issues, for sure.

No he hasn't the police in his district have the lowest level of arrests in the nation for DWI and the police have been instructed to arrest anybody who admits to drinking.
