The Final Seal Has Been Broken! Waffle House Closes from Coronavirus

CANTON, Ga. - A Waffle House in Cherokee County has been closed after officials say an employee tested positive for the coronavirus.

In all seriousness, I do wonder what the CDC's thoughts on this are. FEMA unofficially uses the Waffle House Index to gauge natural disaster severity thanks to Waffle House's commitment to staying open as long as humanly possible during a disaster and getting back open as quickly as they can following one. If the CDC applies the same, then I reckon Canton, Georgia just became America's ground zero.

Wow, I wonder how their Waffles were there. If they were good, there are going to be some depressed people there that will not be able to get their WuFlu waffle fix.

Actually, Waffles and WuFlu do have some eerie similarities in letters.

To my knowledge, there are not any Waffle House’s left here in Michigan.
But I stopped at one in Ohio once while passing through.
Absolute garbage breakfast, Stevie Wonder could have cooked a better meal.

How horrible, where I used to live in the USA.. If the local Waffle House closed down it would cause many more highway deaths.

No place for all the drinkers to go after the bars close, and eat, and let the drinks "wear off" and be safe to drive.

Nobody WANTS to go to Waffle House, well maybe some aspire to eat out at a place like that, but most of the time, in disaster and tragedy, it's the only place open. Waffle House is often used as a "base" for many community groups.

When Waffle House is closed, it's an indication of VERY hard time.
