I thinking testing for the virus across America would be a bit like painting the Forth Bridge.

It will run its course, as that's what viruses do.

Be great if they can get the lethality down in any way but don't expect to be seeing any vaccines in 2020.

I have never had a flu shot. I've never had the flu or a cold since 2004. Maybe it's the hydrogen peroxide I gargle with in the shower every morning.

I ken it's is an oxidizing agent that can be used as laundry bleach, Just like other oxygen-based bleaches.

It breaks down safely into water and oxygen and is a more environmentally-friendly bleach than chlorine(sodium hypochlorite) bleach, hydrogen peroxide that is.

Its also the stuff Woman dye there hair with if memory serves which can go oh so wrong. LoL

To be honest i don't recommend gargling with any type of bleach if I'm honest.

Is it some sort of new-age fad or crazy mad tide pod consumption thingamabob?

I gave up forced inoculations / testing when I left the government. I am not inclined to participate, so they'll have to make me.

Care's OP is suggesting one possible scenario and is asking if it's feasible. The answer is no. Some of the "doctors" and "scientists" the media is interviewing are about as educated in bio-sciences as Bill Nye and should be trusted as much.

I am going to give you an entirely different take on this virus. Its ok if you mock me. Some of you won't. President Xi of China, ever since he rose to power, has been actively persecuting the Christian church. He imprisons Christians and bulldozes churches. In return he received a pig virus that killed 1/2 the countries pigs. He kept it up. He got Trump's trade war and Hong Kong rebellion. He kept it up. He got this virus.

In the US, Trump moved the US embassy to Jerusalem. Our economy and country prospered. He proposed dividing the land of Israel and within 30 days the virus hit us. Right. No vaccine this year...though clinical test trials will soon begin. Maybe "at risk" people with CV-19 will volunteer to be early testers.

You're also correct that testing all 325 million for CoronaVirus and the bigger killer, the FLU, would be too huge of an undertaking. The borders would have to be sealed to stop anyone from entering until a vaccine is developed.

We also need to stop all imports as well. It's totally possible that some infected foreign actor could taint anything with their spit or bodily fluids on products destined for the American consumer, to try and kill us. We need to cut off all contact with any communist, left leaning country and that includes Europe.

not hard. we would be hearing about Trump's dictatorship, just to start. and how he is going against the constitution in doing so.

next we would be hearing about how impossible testing everyone would be. and how it would be yet more "corporate socialism", or corporate welfare. and how Trump is yet again giving money to the rich. they would also come out and say how completely useless such testing would be, since you might catch it after getting the test. in fact quite possibly catching it where they do the testing. and how they are putting everyone's lives at risk by doing so.

i also suspect we would be reading of how such testing is racist, and anti poor since i just bet minorities and the poor are adversely affected. especially since the "rich" are likely already hiding behind their walls for the most part and staying home, or at least away from places with so many lower class riffraff. and how he is again hurting the poor by forcing them to stay home (or incarcerated, since we have seen in this situation how people refuse to quarantine themselves). and how they will loose their homes and jobs, and become destitute because they are not going to work.
