Just look at what GPS has done for directions, we had to learn how to read maps and street directories.

On the upside those dependant on technology, if tge lights go out will not get very far, but hey they'll have lots of toilet paper.

I remember when the 2 US doctors , with Ebola , were brought back to the US to EUH (you will never guess where I was the very day they were brought in , and again the day they were released)
I remember SARS
I remember the Avian flu
I remember the Swine flu
All were supposed to be an ELE .
Rubella
On and on over all the decades of my existence .

I LOVE a good old map. And vinyl records. On the other hand...I love computer controlled engines and ordering stuff on the net. And networking with other hobbyists.

But we iz humans. We gonna jack ourselves up at some point and one needs to be ready. Hell, most kids wouldnt have a clue what the phrase "canning beans" even means.

I can see the panic setting in a bit, here in Charlotte NC at the store this evening all out of masks, wipes, and sanitizer. I picked up those items 2 weeks back when I saw this possibility coming. The TP section is running a little slim as well.

I'm watching Jimmy Kimmel right now describe how dangerous the CoronaVirus is, but his studio is packed with a live audience of belly-laughing germ spreaders.

There's something terribly wrong with Kimmel's mind. Maybe Joe Biden started "losing it", at about that age?

But, if you do not believe in all the fear mongering, you may be mentally challenged and a conspiracy theorist to boot. When Media spreads fear we are supposed to get scared and follow the individuals pulling the wool over our eyes. A good sheep has lots of wool to pull down over their eyes.
