c19 coronavirus covid19 novel coronavirus SARScoronavirus2/19

linky

Is a pandemic .

The definition of pandemic is

(Of a disease) prevalent over a whole country or the world .

The definition of prevalent is

prevalent
/ˈprɛv(ə)l(ə)nt/

adjective
widespread in a particular area or at a particular time.

So c19 is a new disease that will be everywhere at once.

Coronavirus is zoonotic meaning it can transmit between animal and human hosts

Here's a WHO page with a short explanation and a video about cooking meat and eggs properly , etc.

Iran now has 23 members of parliament off sick.
Of health inequalities and life opportunities this could be a leveller.

Ramping it up to biblical possibilities.might seem a little reckless at this point , but we can speculate that the world after this could be almost empty after a good old smiting from Heaven ' s Host . Don't say you hadn't been warned , say your prayers etc lol , btw don't panic on the way to hell . Repent your sins and wash your dirty hands !

Nice fake news, bro. WHO hasn't declared it a pandemic yet. Nothing on their twitter feed and website says this. It would be big news on MSM if it was true.

2009 flu pandemic

Edit
The 2009 flu pandemic or swine flu was an influenza pandemic that lasted from early 2009 to late 2010, and the second of the two pandemics involving H1N1 influenza virus (the first of them being the 1918–1920 Spanish flu pandemic), albeit in a new version. First described in April 2009, the virus appeared to be a new strain of H1N1 which resulted when a previous triple reassortment of bird, swine and human flu viruses further combined with a Eurasian pig flu virus,[1] leading to the term "swine flu".[2] It is estimated that 11–21% of the then global population (of about 6.8 billion), or around 700–1400 million people contracted the illness — more in absolute terms than the Spanish flu pandemic.[3] However, with about 150,000–575,000 fatalities, it had a much lower case fatality rate of 0.01-0.08%.[4]

And might want to look up the actual factors to determine a pandemic.

That's a proper point well made.

The presenter told us on radio 4 , it's about to happen , now you have a dry run for reactions.

It'll be a Twitter storm for sure

What's nice to know is there's no fooling ATS regulars

Researchers identify two coronavirus types as China cases dwindle

SHANGHAI (Reuters) - Scientists in China studying the viral disease outbreak’s origin said they had found that two main types of the new coronavirus could be causing infections.

The preliminary study found that a more aggressive type of the new coronavirus associated with the disease outbreak in Wuhan accounted for about 70% of analyzed strains, while 30% was linked to a less aggressive type.

The prevalence of the more aggressive virus decreased after early January 2020, they said.

Okay, so I was just on CNBC on this link.
www.cnbc.com...
While I was reading, the link went dead.
So I backed up a page and clicked a different link to the same story. I decided to capture some screenshots in case it died too. It did.

It does state that the WHO will likely seem the Coronavirus a pandemic soon.

Edit* And now it's back up...just found it odd that the link kept breaking on me. Not sure if they changed the article as I didn't get enough screenshots to compare.

It's not far away however, your link is no good anyway.

This was published 20 hours ago,

www.cnbc.com...

Extract,
'WHO will likely deem the COVID-19 coronavirus a global pandemic once sustained person-to-person spread takes hold outside China, a CDC official says.
The outbreak already meets two criteria for a pandemic, Dr. Anne Schuchat, principal deputy director of the CDC, said in prepared remarks.'
