Fairly obvious what happened last run. He could not pull in black voters and was unable to take one southern state. This is due to black voters already experiencing the effects for decades of forms of socialism. Cheap housing, food programs, tuition programs and affirmative action. It got them nowhere and for the most part, things got progressively worse in every city for them. The type of socialism Bernie projects as success is not designed for the US.

His success examples are nordic countries, or countries with a more homogeneous group of people who exist with common values, goals and beliefs. Look at the US. People are not even called Americans first. They always put something before American. Black American, Muslim American, Hispanic Americans. It's a horrible moniker format that never allows the country to have a common core. The US is not really a melting pot. The ingredients don't really mix. The only thing that holds it together is the juice of capitalism. If one is good at something, has a certain skill that is valued they will absolutely get paid and be respected in society. Bernie's nirvana has no use for it. He's wants to make the contents of the pot melt down like bone broth which will not work in the US.

Bernie supporters should just be honest. They should all have signs that say "I'm poor..let's be poor together".

Socialism works great in countries with little to no diversity where everyone is already wealthy.

Socialism ends horribly under any other conditions. The list is long.

So part of his strategy is having Ilhan Omar and AOC endorse him since that might help?

Bernie's hypocrisy is unbelievable. 3 houses, flying in private jet - he even took a flight to one of the Carolinas when driving would have only taken like 2 hours. Yet he wants to be a supporter of the Green New Deal BS. What a clown

At least Trump is upfront about destroying the environment

He's made it very clear that he favors deregulation regardless of environmental factors. I can't think of one good thing he has done in favor of environmentalist reasons. Can you?

Great Opening Post. You're right about low-income Black voters experiencing socialism already. I never thought of it like that.

S&F.

P.S. StupidSecrets, please note that you erode the forum when you don't follow the thread creation rules. You can get away with not using links to outside sources in the "Mud Pit", but it's bad form in this official "2020 U.S. Elections" forum.

Deregulation sounds so evil.
Why not just say he's removing all environmental safeguards?
It's not true but what does that matter.

The truth is he rolled back regulations that were choking industry with useless or unreachable goals. That's why he removed us from the Paris accord. Unobtainable goals.

Some of Congress' imposed regulations.
The EPA's regulations still hold

Denying ignorance.
Why ?
Sounds like fun, I guess.
