so exit polls are being posted and cnn has allready called the race for biden with clyburns endorsement and if biden wins it will be his best primary finish in all of his runs for presidency to day

www.nbcnews.com...

South Carolina exit polls: More black, moderate voters turn out Voters in South Carolina’s primary were more diverse and more moderate than those in the first three early-state contests for the Democratic presidential nomination, early results from the NBC News Exit Poll shows. More than half of those voting in Saturday's primary — 55 percent — identified as African American, a dramatically higher share than in the Iowa, New Hampshire or Nevada Democratic presidential contests. Just half of voters said they consider themselves to be liberal, compared to all the previous contests where liberals made up at least six-in-ten voters. And just four-in-ten South Carolina voters said they hold a college degree; by contrast, college graduates were in the majority of the electorates in the first three contests.

Former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe endorses Joe Biden for president From CNN's Kate Sullivan Former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe on Saturday endorsed former Vice President Joe Biden for president. Virginia is a Super Tuesday state, and voters will head to the polls next week to vote in the state’s Democratic primary.

apparently black vote is higher then normal and exit polls are showing some interesting things 6% of African Americans in SC are satisfied with trump and 5% very satisfied with trump and the graphs i cant quote so some pretty interesting things

but with almost no numbers in yet per exit polls biden is going to win this one and by a lot

Biden has no platform no program, it's all just "anti-Trump".

So the dems have to vote somewhere.

It was promising that they didn't give in to the communist Sanders.

They're endorsing a guy who can't tell time, the truth, or even what day it is.

twitter.com... trump throwing some shade at bloomberg and giving props to biden was a thing i didnt think id be posting about today but here it is

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump · 15m Sleepy Joe Biden’s victory in the South Carolina Democrat Primary should be the end of Mini Mike Bloomberg’s Joke of a campaign. After the worst debate performance in the history of presidential debates, Mini Mike now has Biden split up his very few voters, taking many away!
so that is kind of interesting

i think of it as more backlash from DNC for those that dont want bernie and want to try to kill some of his momentum as a good deal of the dnc is not on bernies side yet if ever so for moderates their hopes are in biden (lol) bloomberg and pete to a lesser extent as say compared to warren or socialist sanders

per cbs exit polls biden is expected to win 70% of the vote in SC now the only question is will bernie get enough votes to get any delegates or if the others can siphon off enough votes to keep him off the delegate board in SC

www.nytimes.com..../interactive/2020/02/29/us/elections/results-south-carolina-primary-election.html Per NTY styer is some how pulling into 2nd and bumping bernie down so he may not get any delegates but it is early

Didnt Trump tell his supporters to go out and vote for the weakest candidate? Maybe he is trolling Joe. LOL

seems biden will keep his lead, sanders probally enough to qualify for delegates not sure how they apply/split them Klobuchar is done pete underperforming and styer spent alot of money to not even really end up on the map it seems

R politics is its usual infighting

R sanders for pres is trying to keep morale up

R the donald has well gone dark since the mods purge so not any info from them

seems no more then 3% of the vote is in so like past dem primaries taking a while to have results trickle in but at least its going better then Iowa

that is the consensus of "operation chaos" (ironically originally thought up by rush back in 08) but that only works in open primary states

from the trump friendly corners of reddit before the purge the TLDR plan was to have every republian they could get to vote for biden in texas on super tuesday to take wind out of sanders sails and i was not informed of the other open primary states plans as that is about when the donald subreddit went dark

SC is open primary state so you could see some padding to bidens numbers from that

the over all goal being to prevent one candidate from getting to the magic number and least from republican supporters point of view lead to a contested dem convention and keep the actual vote totals semi obscured until election day ,no idea how well it will work but this was supposed to be bidens best state and to date his ONLY primary win in all of his 3 attempts at running for president

operationchaos2020.com... they have a website for it which seems unwise

Frequently Asked Questions. What is Operation Chaos 2020? Operation Chaos 2020 is a program to encourage Republican voters to participate in the Democrat primary. Whose idea was this? The original “Operation Chaos” was started in February 2008 by Rush Limbaugh. Rush encouraged GOP voters in key swing states to support Hillary Clinton in order to prolong the Democrat primary. After Rush started agitating for this program, Hillary went from sure loser to a contender: for awhile. This was particularly effective in the Indiana primary. This time around Operation Chaos 2020 is being sponsored by the Conservative Defense Fund. Wait, Democrats can vote in Republican primaries? That’s not right! Exactly. Although you can only vote in one party primary at a time, under current South Carolina law there is nothing the Republican Party can do to prevent bona fide Democrats from voting in the GOP primary. That means, in large areas of the state, where there is frequently no competitive Democrat primary (which is often the case), Democrats can just vote in the Republican primary and vote for the most liberal candidate or for the candidate they think will fare worst in the general election. Since Democrats can vote in Republican primaries that means Republicans can vote in Democrat primaries: thus Operation Chaos 2020. What do we hope to gain? First, we want to prolong the primary to make it as costly and damaging as we can. So far, the only efforts have bene for Democrats to cross-over and support liberal Republicans like Lindsey Graham and John McCain and perhaps a few cases on the state level. Won’t I be tarred forever as a Democrat? No. Operation Chaos 2020 is a certified conservative program and since there is no corresponding Republican primary, you are excused.
as it states the main diffrence this time is there aren't any republican primaries going on due to trump being the incumbent and no real challenger so its mostly to skew the dems numbers and make it more expensive for them to campaign and attempting to sow as much chaos with again the stated goal of being a contested dem convention

Those are the percents of the few precincts that are reporting their results. Biden will win the state, but the final tallies will be much different. With 100% reporting, Sanders might get 30%+ or 40%+ etc
