What I find with people most of the time people only criticize and hate in other people what we do not like about their own character. Take homosexuality for example. It's funny how the people who are most outspoken against homosexuality turn out to be one in the end.
Whatever the perceived character flaw is that you do not like about yourself is what you see in other people. The things you like about yourself you ignore in other people. And what you want to become you praise in other people. You meaning anyone not you in particular.
I think when a person has a really strong self-esteem and healthy character the person is less judgmental and more supportive of other people without judgment.
Modern psychology at this point is very sophisticated in understanding human character and to have the most effective character. I like this book as a map of human character showing all our strengths and weaknesses and how to deal with them:

God is neither right nor wrong. God is everything all at once.

It's the only way to prove yourself. It's the only way to be right, and that's proving yourself wrong. Only from then on your life starts.

God is present everywhere all at once as everything......is there anything apart from it that can escape it?
