Hello, my name is Dani. I am here & I am reading, always absorbing. I am interested in everything but believe in almost nothing...yet I am very open-minded. Just not sure about anything. I don't necessarily need advice, I am just here to research & learn, & simply wanted to make my presence known.

The link to the "20 posts rule" thread on the first page seems broken. I only come to a thread called "the culture of negativity" or similar.

Nope, not broken, that's exactly where it's supposed to go, to the post by Skeptic Overlord explaining a bunch of things, including the 20 post rule.

Now if you say SO probably should have started a new thread explaining site rules, I'd agree, but he didn't and so that's where the link goes because that's where he explained it, in the "We must end the rising "culture of negativity" (SOLUTION POSTED)" thread.

Id like some help!
What do you say about the numerous and quite compelling accusations that this website and its creators/moderators, are "controlled opposition"? Since a recent IP address check revealed that this website originates from Langley Virginia and the CIA headquarters...
Since this website - in no way whatsoever tries to help change the issues raised within it, Ive gotta ask: what is the point?
If you look at people like David Icke, who have large resources and attention at their disposal, remain unattached from any real means of change.
Its great to have figureheads and people with means sticking up for what you believe in... But if those people do nothing with their power, who are they actually working for?
This website has a long standing opposition to anyone who criticizes freemasons and actually bans members for writing anything negative about them! Does that sound like a website designed for free thinkers?
Careful what you say... The thought police are everywhere...
The freemasons really started their big push for power when they banished free thinking on the subject of a 'flat earth'.
The flat earth concept has more evidence to support it than a spherical earth and until Copernicus (a known freemason) came along, those theories were valid. Copernicus basically stated that the earth was a globe and it also revolved around the sun.. An idea devoid of evidence.
Since then, every big revelation in earth science has come from a freemason - most of it being a big lump of hooey.

If our earth is round, how is it you cannot see a curve in the horizon? I live 200 feet up in an apartment and I can't see the slightest curve in the horizon.
In fact, the only time you will see a curve in the horizon is when the photo/video is being taken by NASA, Hollywood or other corporate disinformation specialists.
A fisheye lens is the most common way to make something look like its got curves where it does not and thats why the Redbull orbital parachute jump revealed curves in the planet - they partnered with GoPro.
The more research you put into this theory, the more weight it has in science (real science).
I started out by watching youtube videos of Mark Sargent, who doesnt actually say anything... Its amazing, you can watch him speak for 20 minutes and he still wouldn't have brought forth a single fact for his theories.
After floating around for a while, I found Eric Dubay and his theories for flat earth.
His arguments are well-rounded and he backs them up with as much fact as possible. Im not saying he is definitely correct, but he's offered more evidence than any science book I've ever been forced to read on the flat earth theory.

Go check out people like Mark Sargent and see how quickly they turn you away from their beliefs, despite the fact they're apparently trying to recruit you into their thinking; now go and check out Eric Dubay and see how easy it is to believe what he is saying - he's got scientific evidence!

ATS is government-funded and government-run, Its a sick and twisted representation of your right to discuss conspiracy theories without prejudice or censorship.
The easiest way to control the opposition is to lead the opposition - think real hard on that quote.

You are like, really really late to the party. I'd advise you to maybe use the search function and see where this has all been addressed ad nauseam over the years, but since you could've done that already, welcome to ATS.

Funny stuff.

You're lying. No such IP check ever happened, was ever traced there. Perhaps you'd like to post your own IP trace as evidence?

Why lie?

This website has a long standing opposition to anyone who criticizes freemasons and actually bans members for writing anything negative about them!

That is also an outright lie, by you.

No such thing has happened specific to such people. We only ban people based on behavior. If ill-mannered people focus on a specific group, it may appear they were banned because of their focus, not their intolerable behavior.

The freemasons really started their big push for power when they banished free thinking on the subject of a 'flat earth'.
The flat earth concept has more evidence to support it than a spherical earth

We've never prevented the discussion of the ridiculous "flat earth" nothing, but we have laughed heartily at it, and put it into the hoax forum.

ATS is government-funded and government-run

That is another outright lie, by you.

hi I just joined cuz.everyday news is getting ridiculous and in starting to wonder what's really going on behind the childish front (like muslims vs christians, black vs white, gays vs straights, etc)

Im wondering where this is leading up to as fellow Americans all around seem to be too caught up in living vicariously thru video games, spectator sports, karaokeing same songs over and over, end lots of addictions like just floating thru the mundane vulnerabilities of everyday life

I mean how are we being progressive as one nation when we are so easily divided by our trivial differences which we to be obsessed about rather than read issues like health happiness safety and success? As individuals as well as a community/nation

Oh and how do I start an intro? I couldn't find a way to make a new thread!
