Hope this is the right place, but i need help getting my avatar working. looked in the asala(spelling?)advice thread, and it seems that thread is a bit outdated when it comes to avatars.

i tried going through the tools+ button, and it seemed it had me upload a pic for my avatar. but it is still not showing for me. does it have to be approved before its up?

any help is appreciated.

First read New Rules for Avatars and Backgrounds

*Go to MATS (media at ATS)
*Log in with your current ATS username/password
*Go to MY PICTURES (located under MY ACCOUNT...top right hand side)
*Upload
*Click on image
*Copy URL (for avatar) /member#### (for background
**Go back to ATS and click on TOOLS
*paste the code into the proper field

I think my avatar may not be the type to work in this forum without a transparent part added to make it taller?
would it be against the rules to ask for some help converting my wanted avatar pic with a transparent background?
i don't have any image tools besides mspaint. and I'm not sure if i understand on how to even do transparency with mspaint.

just in case someone is willing to help, ill post what my avatar is currently

if possible have the visible part the same Height and width, but i think its the transparency that would make my avatar forum worthy.

well i just uploaded this, hope it meets requirements. looks like its not making the forums bug out, so maybe it's fine the way it is.

Hi MetalGypsy, this thread you are reading now is in the introductions forum.
At the top of this page to the right you will see two tabs the one that you want says "New Thread"

Click on that, it will open a new thread waiting for a title and content.

I know this probably seems like a dumb question but ive searched high and low and cannot seem to find what im looking for... basically each thread i am active in i would like an email notification when there is a reply etc... I have tried looking through myATS, Tools etc but cannot find it anywhere, if anyone knows can you please point me in the right direction. Thanks :-)

Hey there, Sorry to say at this time we dont have the means to do this, As you can imagine the site is very big and it would be a coding nightmare, It the future there may be plans but not right now,

for now the "myATS" page is the best way to keep up to date on your posts,

Ahh i see no worries thanks man! Also i was wandering if there is plans on an android app for ATS or updated mobile site??

Hmm i think there is plans for such a thing I shall look it to that and get back to you

Not an e-mail per say but another option -

From the Blue Menu Bar - TOOLS / messages / REPLIES will take you to a list of all replies directed toward you via the 'Reply To' feature..

Hello, I'm new to ATS and just created an account. I'm not new to any of the topics presented here, I've been lurking for a long time. What gave me cause to finally create an account was that my daughter and I witnessed multiple UFOs in the Bellevue Washington area.

I've reported the incident to the National UFO Reporting Center and also posted a video with explanation on YouTube at:
