i found the info on flags (by the way can we give an unlimited number?) and on points, but info on stars i cant find.

Stars are what you give to posts you agree with, 1 star per post can be given,

Stars are given to you by other members for individual posts. They're supposed to be a way of acknowledging a well written or well researched post that makes a good point or helps advance the collaborative research of the thread. Or they can be a way to say 'Good job' for the original post on a thread.

Im not sure if it works with Sigs, But if you go to member tools, and then to the "Store" you can turn on low bandwidth, It may enable you to not see sigs,

hrmm where to start i was just reading a thread about some new ats rules, "the end of hate speach,subtle or otherwise, on ats", when i reached the end of the thread to find out that the thread had been closed without important issues being adressed! this really bothered me...
so my question is where can i find out what ats considers subtle? i mean when you state that "subtle" hate speach will be met with "zero tolerance" you really should go out oof your way to define what would fall into this category. i read the t&c and totally agree but when you start throwing out terms like "subtle" and "zero tolerance" it makes me double-plus worried!
so is there any other place/thread where this has actually been adressed?
thanks (please dont think im a racist or hater or whatever but i want to know just what is acceptable) hrmm and while im at it why would this thread be closed so quickly seems really weird. How do i get ATS points and Thanx in advance

im a long time lurker (of the ats front page). took the plunge and joined today. having a hard time navigating the place, but im sure ill get the hang of things.

I, picture is put, though, method is not understood. Help?

I've used ATS for a couple of years as a source of interesting links, videos etc. but recently decided to sign up. Now to put together a kickass avatar/sig combination.

Would someone mind commenting on how the flag level of contribution is determined? Is it a combination of flags/applause/points? Or is it based solely on flags? Just curious!
