Sorry, I somehow missed this first time round.

China is dealing with is already. A lady said she saw them bag up old people and kill them... I believe her.

Why do you believe her?
Where is her credibility?

Is that what is going to happen in the UK.

Why would you think that?
Why would it happen in the UK and not in say France or Germany or Canada or Australia?

I don't think that will happen in the US,...

Why not?

Nationalizing healthcare makes it a limited resource which means it will be denied by the Socialists in charge to whomever they feel is unworthy.

Sorry, no 'socialists' in charge here.
And why do you think 'they' would decide who is 'worthy' of treatment?
On what basis do you think that?
Is there any precedence here in the UK?

Do you think the US's healthcare system is better prepared for such a large scale outbreak, if so please explain why?

Seems to me like lots of people are hypothesizing based purely on preconceived notions founded on blind faith in political dogma and lacking any real substantive evidence.

Well now , I see FEMA Facility mentioned
I do not see FEMA "camp" anywhere .
Perhaps you mistranslated ?

I misspoke, it is not a camp, it is a facility. I'm pretty sure 99.9999999% people got my gist

Got your incorrect wording.
A camp is a temporary shelter .
A facility is just that.
All States have em.

A few days ago the WHO released a statement saying European style public healthcare is the most resilient and best suited in the world to treat this pandemic so I tend to go off that than inaccurate reporting of an absolute worst case scenario where 90+% of the population are infected, as healthcare is rationed in any public or private system in the world if that happens.

Well, you are obviously more advanced that I am at understanding blood chemistry (I do know I am O+). I read up on that blood type diet last night until I passed out.

All I really know is this: the more onions I eat, the stronger my immune response is; I tend to have high triglycerides (over 500 when I had my first congestive heart attack, still running high despite a diet change and statin); I also tend to have a D3 deficiency (related?); It's hard to make me bleed and harder to bruise me; and I almost never get sick of anything. Beyond that... eh, my specialty is copper and silicon, not carbon chains.

I will be reading more on this subject as time allows, though. It's pretty fascinating!

We need proof that China actually kills people... now that is the funniest thing I've ever read.

I am 65 and my husband will be 84 next month.I am already
getting my house ready to go into self quarantine if the virus
gets near to us.I can take care of us the best that I can.A hospital
visit could make things worse. The supply chain is probably broken,
or nearly broken now.A lot of sick people will put a strain on the
resources in hospitals.

Is that the same WHO that still can't bring themselves to call this a pandemic?

In this instance I would say that proof is exactly what is required.

You are alleging that the Chinese government are actively and systematically killing old people who have the coronavirus.
Why would you blindly believe anything like that without any sort of supportive evidence?

I did not say "systematically killing"
I said "A lady said she saw them bag up old people and kill them... I believe her."
I would believe it because it is a country that has ripped near full term babies from wombs and killed them without hesitation.

I'm also not going to argue about China's value (or lack of) on individual life, it's well known.

Ok, not systematically killing, just killing then.

If you want to blindly believe things like that its entirely up to you.
Me, I'd need some sort of substantial evidence.

I have found 'Believe nothing what you hear and only half of what you see' to be one of the most prudent pieces of advice I've ever been given.

Yup because it doesn't yet meet the medical criteria for a pandemic yet (global spread). They have advise countries to prepare for it becoming one though.

It is good to be prepared in case something does happen. I think I might have to get more bacon, our blind cat looks so sad if he does not get bacon. He eats about a pound a week, pretty expensive cat food treats. He would make our lives miserable if he didn't have his bacon, he would climb all over and haul things all over the house that he finds. I feel he is trying to get back at us by trying to trip us.

Unfortunately triage is a very important way of maximizing survivors in an incident. You don't want someone who could have lived to die just so you can futilely wring your hands over someone who doesn't have a chance.

The problem is one of numbers. That 2-3% death rate is the quick death. The recovery rate is nowhere near 97%. You're forgetting the 14-24% of contagious, sick people, and they'll not only turn into dead people if they don't get care, they'll take 4 or 5 others with them into the dead category that otherwise wouldn't have been in that 2%.

Remember, again, all of these numbers are really representative of samples, not a final set of numbers we can draw any conclusions from. Put simply, we're watching the slowest explosion we've ever seen, and unfortunately some people directly in line with the explosion are too busy laughing at the people who've already been slow-mo blown up and nobody is every going to forgive them for that.

I'm Irish, living in England (sorry to those folks who called me racist in another thread, I'm as white as white comes), and I'm very concerned about my wee island home. There's 1.7 million souls in N Ireland (where I'm from), and 4.8 million souls in "proper" Ireland. To some of you people around the world, there's more people live in your city than live on my entire island, and let's be honest, there's some of you folk out there have a bigger back garden than our entire island.

I'm very worried that that overflow in critical care will very quickly overtake such a small island population. Those who can't get care or won't even try because of the risk of sitting in a waiting room, they'll infect family and neighbours and I'm very concerned that it may happen quite a lot more quickly than it has in a larger landmass like China.

I saw a video of a Chinese woman saying there were no beds and no medicine in China. It sounded to me like the common people weren’t getting the care but the wealthy elites were. This is what the young people of America do not understand about communism, about the reality. The Death Panels really were built into Obamacare, it just was worded in a way to disguise the true intent. This comes out in such situations as when Gov Northam of Virginia said that they would keep newborns “comfortable” until the mother and doctor “decide”. This is someone who is steeped in euthanasia and the idea that newborns and the unborn do not enjoy the sanctity of life under the Progressive model. How sad that so many people do not understand the portent of that. We have heard of rationing ..... yes rationing is part of the Progressive healthcare model because it is based on communism.
