Who remembers the Olympics

So I'm having issues navigating ATS at the moment.

Owners, administrators, mods..

So I and many members have seen a pattern over the years.

Just about the time of a mass gathering in world, like the Olympics. ATS gets bombed with spambots. Or humans trying to make normal traffic here stink on ice. Today I've seen "" "new members push a virus" scenario... yes corona is not good, but the previous patterns still persist.
( winter Olympics are because slushy icy brain freeze)

In Brazil it was ZikaBola.

So Tokyo is upon us.
I'm seeing the same things.

I also tonight saw and witnessed ATS fight back a bit.

Somebody spammed and got bannnnn... and returned only to keep up spammmm

I never have any of these issues that people say they have with ats.

I think in the 10 years I've been here I've only ever even had a few double posts.

I only visit ats from my pc.

Maybe the people that have issues are having them because they visit using their phones or tablets?
