A key Chinese respiratory disease expert said that some discharged coronavirus patients could still carry the virus and be infectious, potentially posing another complication to Beijing's efforts to control the epidemic. Zhao Jianping, the head of the coronavirus containment team in worst-affected Hubei province, said a minority of patients who were discharged from hospital after tests showed they were negative for the virus later tested positive again. China counts patients whose throat or nose swabs show up positive for the virus in a nucleic acid test, and those whose CT scans show lesions in their lungs, as infected cases.

So, the virus goes into hiding and the people keep infecting others after it comes out again. That is a well designed virus. I congratulate the people who engineered it for doing such a good job with it.

What did they design this virus to do? To kill people or cause permanent mutations? Could this effect eggs and sperm? I think that the fluids protecting both are probably antiviral,

All viruses do that to some extent... go dormant then come back. That is whycome cancer and chicken pox/shingles.

This one kind of insidious in that the initial review said it has traits of HIV. That is, it actively shields itself from the immune system in a manner similar to only the HIV.

The report ended with a note saying basically that it is unlikely that this is a natural mutation.

That is unknown and needs further study but should make you a bit more paranoid than normal about communicable diseases!

clearly...it doesend matter
they underestimated the incubition time was better if they had said depending on human own resitince capability..
and the major problem now is not the discease itsself but the economic effects on the country itself !!!

now south Korea is struckt by the virus ... see the world stock markets dropping fast next week couse factory's like samsung is in production danger…

wisely India /taiwan and lots of other country's are shuffeling the infected numbers under the carpet ...from fear to economic dropping

that gives the virus an enormous advantige for spreading !!

Sounds alot like a virus that remains hiding in the body but remerges during stress decades later as shingles - likr anyone eho's ever had cpox or the vax for it... Whats ironis is its more likely to be contagious from vac than shingles!
