Great catch

Scary how fast these events can devolve into a potential serious engagement. From the looks of things it would seem Russia destroyed several terrorist groups (including ISIL types) that Turkey supports/trains/funds.

Erdogan is a true enemy to the West and Putin isn't that far behind him. Fortunately our objective (to kill terrorists) lines up with Russia in this respect. I don't hold his support of Assad against him, simply because I don't believe that 90%+ of the things Assad has been accused of was done by Assad (which is another topic all together)

NATO wont do #.
Turkey made their bed, invaded a sovereign nation (again), it is in Syria without a UN SC mandate..and against the wishes of the Syrian government, ie it has invaded.
Russia is in Syria at the request of Syria, they are allies.

There's nothing NATO can or will do to help Turkey because it risks starting WW3.

Not yet they won't anyway...not enough cooked turkeys if you catch my drift...
