I was thinking why do I spend so much time making videos, posting on ATS and elsewhere, and doing things like running for office.

It takes a lot of time and energy, and sometimes even money (running for office did), and i rarely get some big victory.

So I sat down and thought about it

And I thought that I dont want to be part of a generation or generations that let the greatest country in the history of the world slip through our fingers.

So here was a video I did on my thoughts and why we need to come together to fight corruption.

(And yes, I know I am bias coming from the right wing. But I welcome allies from all sides of the political aisle that want to fight ocrruption)

It is the idea that different groups of people coming/running from other failed nation states can figure out a way to govern themselves under one unifying flag. Although holding different opinions, lifestyles, genetics and backgrounds found a way to co-exist (the huge black eye: Native Americans were exterminated in this process).

And your nation is without sin?

The nation is not just the corrupt officials that run it.

It is the symbol set forth by the constitution and founding fathers.

The idea of personal liberty and responsibility that they set forth is still the standard for how countries should operate.

Um...

We were not exactly exterminated.

We were population-reduced.

But are doing a lot better now, TYVM.

To the OP's video...

Just... excellent.

Our current problem is that normal Americans are being brought into a battle with an ideology that will accept no middle ground.

Normal people (as you pointed out) that just want to work and live and play.... to be allowed the freedom to try and fail, to have the freedom of choice in their personal lives.

This freedom is being threatened.

So yes... this is a very important time in American history.

To me, it is VERY important that we are not the generation to give that away, so slip peacefully into that good night.

It is a time to fight.

Right now it is a war of ideologies in the media and online and I hope it never becomes an actual war.

But either way it needs fixed.

Which is why I hope that Bernie wins the primary.

So that we can finally have the conversation of socialism vs capitalism in the confines of a Presidential election.

Even with the slant that will be given to the debate with everything that the bureaucracy owns...

The DNC, academia, Hollywierd and our untrustworthy media.

Let's have the battle that way first and see where the chips fall.

So we know where to go from there.

Excellent OP.

My nation is with sin, and I recognize it.

I do not turn a blind eye to the oppressive drums of war, but the US is a nation built off the backs of slaves, genocide, and propaganda. To be fair, all great nations have been built in this way, unfortunately it's how we live in today's world, the book Guns Germs and Steel is somewhat right in that regard.

But to stand up there and tell us you are the greatest nation of all time while blood is on it's hands, millions of lives, and the current battle against democracy is a bold statement. You have a president who sees himself as a king, and a broken political scene. Dying empires grasp at straws, and start to sound like you do.

Here's a great song:

Native Americans within the US and territories thereof were left to the USA....AFTER genocidal actions by multiple conquering/imperialistic nations almost 600 years prior. The mess was left for the US to clean-up. The wars in the Americas were long started by:
Spain
France
England
Portugal
And let's not forget Rome's place...

American Indians laugh when only the US is fungered-out. No other Nations ever stepped forward. I speak from a first person family knowledge myself.

Your nation's contribution to civilization won't even be a footnote.

Except possibly that you made good beer.

Nowhere near as bad as yours mate, not even close. And anyway, they apologise for sh!t they don't even do, so all good there.

I suppose though Justin Trudeau is a complete dick, so you could say voting for him was a sin against humanity.

I don't believe in a nations contributions. Humanity as a whole created the civilization and society we live in today.

No nation in history is without sin.

Again I explained the ideology of what the US was built on is what makes it great.

There were sins, as with every country.

But the groundwork of treating all people with personal responsibility and freedom is everlastingly just.

To somehow declare trump a dictator is short sighted and without merit in my opinion. he certainly has flaws, but the mere fact he wasnt part of the club when elected has outed the corruption.

BTW the corruption is without borders, and globalist. And in case you missed that part of the video is what I am trying to work with others to fight against.

If you are so confident that the US and the idea of it set forth in the constitution by the forefathers is not the greatest country, then by all means which one is?

Nothing says fighting corruption like pardoning or commuting the convicted corrupt.

The US is great, because we have a rule of law and separation of powers, and we care about each other. When that is dissolved, when blatant corruption takes hold, when the rule of law and the Constitution matter so little, and when we base others' well being on our political desires, what else do we have?

Our political differences have been used to further divide us, turn us against one another.

We are all Americans. We believe on freedom, and the rule of law.

Here's a great song:

Except you're inherently wrong on that notion and a prime example of a people ignorant to the reality of the world, it's literally rationalizing its own self destruction because of "feelings" on the upbringings of empires in their infancy.

Much like a male lion who runs off the previous prides Alpha male, kills his cubs to insert his DNA, to ensure his genes continue to live and thrive

The US is the greatest nation of all time, ushering an era of Capitalism and Technology, the world has experienced the greatest era of peace since the new age.
Absolute world peace? No, but no major warring factions? None.

You live in peace and free to become rich and or poor.

Your views and perspectives are of course WRONG, so why should we give stock to any of your deluded opinions?

Sounds like you need a little bit of Trump in y'alls life.

Here's a great song:

Canada was heavily involved in the slave trade for over 2 centuries.

The only difference is that they never had a war to be an independent country.

As far as a world economy, the best Canada has ever done is slightly over South Korea.

Despite having about 100 times their land mass and with actual mineral deposits to work with.

Although Canada is slated to soon fall off of the top 10 of world economies because your country is run by idiots.

So I think your whole post is just sour grapes and we're sorry that your country sucks politically.

Because it's really a pretty place... especially BC where I was raised.

Maybe when Canada goes broke because of far-left policies that among other things does not allow it to make money from oil, we can just annex it and put in some nice winter theme parks.
