I'm only posting after reading the graph. There is no explanation of how this plan is funded. Where is the link to how this plan is funded??

The funding is right on the graph on the right side, the richer you are the more you pay.
Of coarse all existing taxes stay, but your monthly/yearly medical premium goes away under this plan, replaced with this amount per year.

considering they are barely handling the work load for active duty military and failing more often than not veterans and their families what a gawd awful train wreck it will be when the fed is trying to take care of 330+ million people.

That's my feeling on his plan, our govt is incapable of the independent thought required to actually provide timely and effective health care. (6 years to get an accurate diagnosis on my back pain while active duty, and a full time reservist)

Bernie will reduce everyone's after-tax income, making them eligible for higher $$$ subsidies, which means they won't have to pay much at all in premiums from their smaller paycheck.

That's the ticket!

I think that to see what kind of healthcare we'll wind up with under a Medicare-For-All plan, all you have to do is look at the VA Hospitals.

Go talk to a veteran to see how good healthcare run exclusively by Uncle Sam is...

V.A. healthcare has been great for me since 1982. Exams are free, medications are $15 per 90 day supply. Hearing aids are free. New pair every 4 years.

If they are that destitute and poor there already exists free healthcare for them. It’s called Medicaid, and it’s all 100% free.

Except in many states they are attempting to force Medicaid recipients to get a job under threat of losing their benefits (and likely at the worst possible time). That's not 100% free. That's extortion.

If Bernie gets the nod Unions with their Cadillac plans will take him down faster than Jimmie Hoffa sank with a ton of cement tied to him. When was the last time ALL Unions voted Republican?

That chart is Bernie's plan? I never seen it , but like most of Bernie's plans they all begin and end with a chart. Bernie Sanders can dream up some very slick charts just like Ross Perot did. The problem with any of Bernie's plans is that he cannot connect the dots to actually make any of his plans work. When is the last time Bernie has ever written a bill outlining Medical Care plans for the General public to present to congress as a serious bill ? There is just so much wrong with that chart I don't know where to begin. its not that simple. The Bottom line is Bernie's medical plan would bankrupt the USA.

One of the main problems in the USA now is obtaining and keeping MD's with a specialty and keeping a well staffed hospital period. Hospitals all across the county have that problem now. The other problem is there is no new hospitals being built in rural america. Otherwise access to quality health care in America is if not the biggest problem we have now. Its not whom has the better plan under a socialist regime like Bernie is proposing .

The VA works very good ever since Trump became president, Trump is doing more for The VA all the time. I use The VA hospital myself and found it to very superior to one of the local for profit hospitals where I live. when Obama was president they were cutting doctors from the staff, Surgeries and appointment were backed up for months if not years. kid you not. my doctor got booted and they put a PA in his place. My doctor was also a surgeon. yeah ,I was mad when Obama;s Veteran Secretary did that kind of stuff and so was the entire Military community. I know people whom have private insurance like Blue cross that are vets, not disabled vets .they use their private insurance their because the quality of care is very good and they have MD specialty doctors that you don't have to wait a months for to see any of them. more like a weeks or two, nothing ever past a month. Most for profit hospitals you will have a good 2-3 month wait to see a specialist.

Medical health care plans in the private sector were always better in the private sector before Obama care . I think the True last one left is Tri-Care from Government employees. The Affordable Health Care Act care is an complete failure to say the least; increased premiums, lowered coverage. Bernie's plan would do much worse

People like Bernie including many Dems always flash
Something shiny for the voters. A good example in my state NM is Congressional Representative Xochitl Torres Small she promised hospitals clinics she has absolutely done nothing in bringing hospitals and clinics to rural NM , only the private sector can do that.

I'm a Vet and I think Trump has done a fantastic Job truing around the VA hospital. Compared to Bernie's plan . I would take the VA Hospital any day of the week, even over a for profit hospital. As a matter Fact lots of people that are vets use there private insurance at the VA to see MD specialists because they can get an appointment with in 30 days or less, not to mention the VA is adding more specialist everyday. Most for profit hospitals and county hospitals put you on a waiting list for months to see a specialist I know ,been there done that. The VA has changed allot under Trump and is getting ever more big improvements . The VA hospital where I'm at is very well staffed. no one ever wait longer than 30 days to see a specialist of any kind. Don't bash it if you have not got care there. You would be surprised at the quality of care these veterans receive now like my self. Under the democrat's is was just so awful, that's why vets wanted options to go to private sector hospitals.

There are day clinics inside the VA hospitals now ,just like urgent care clinics. you are in and out in couple of hours. used it myself last week. You also have an option of choosing a urgent care at a designated location outside the VA hospital. there is always several choices from major hospitals and private clinics for urgent care .

in addition the VA has an ever better staffed ER than any for profit hospital i have ever been to, new equipment etc. New construction is happening at lots of VA hospitals across the country. the VA has many specialty doctors now as well as general practitioners.

Trump has made huge improvements in every VA hospital across the county ,The media never gives him credit for it. One thing I noticed is non disabled vets using there private insurance at the VA to save on Co-pays and they get better care. My father in laws co pay is $200 each visit to a private doctor. he used his Blue cross-blue shield insurance at the VA to save on the $200 copays said he even get better care there than the for profit hospitals he been to.

Trump has really turned the VA hospitals around for the better. and their getting ever more improvements .

That is a fee structure, it doesn't even come close to funding annual medical costs in the USA even if everyone in the upper brackets doubled the fee structure.

Are you saying the unions would switch political affiliation and loyalties over this issue ?

If there members are doing very well with Trump polices, it means they are doing well, the loss of premium health care as a bonus for their employees is not something they want to lose, never thought about it like that.

Yep Sanders equates to those hard fought healthcare benefits disappearing as all of us are dumped into the same big bucket of poo. Boy equality is great!

Same for me but i even get medications free and my doctors are from one of the Top teaching hospitals in the US UCLA.

What i am afraid of is sanders and the democrats will want to do away with the VA because everyone will have free health care and i will be stuck with lousy doctors.

carewemust If you were exposed to high noise in the military get down and file for service connection for hearing-loss and tinnitus.

www.hillandponton.com...

I filed for both but because I did not yet need hearing aids I only got 10% for tinnitus
when the time comes that I need hearing aids I will file again for hearing loss.
Getting service connected for hearing-loss-tinnitus will make your medications free. plus giving you a service connection check every month.

And it does not mater if not all of your hearing loss was from military service.

Sanders and Warrens plans are not affordable,so they lie to you about the health care plans. Not free either, nothing is free..However it is good that Sanders cares about health care for Americans.

I can take Bernie’s plan and it will be a zero annual rate even if you make $47 billion a year. Gasoline might be $87 a gallon afterwards...

But then again, if you don’t think other things are going to rise exponentially to cover all that “free stuff” I don’t know a better way to explain it to you. Gasoline, VAT, etc. Look around at how other countries do their socialism.
