Reyes deli and grocery. Park slope, Bklyn.

8 bucks and 50 cents. Your tortas suck. This is it.

Best torta I’ve ever had outside mexico. Hell! This rivals any torta I’ve ever had! I grew up in lala land and this is superior to any of that LA slop.

Share the love!

Little meats little meats let me in!!!

Home made bread, even the supposedly mild avocado hot sauce is fire.

All y’all tortas are suckers compared to this beast.

Looks pretty good, but I doubt if I would like that kind of a sandwich myself. I would much rather have a good hamburger than those kind of sandwiches.

How much does it come out to cost if you make one yourself?

To make carnitas you’re using pork butt. So you’re already at around 20 bucks and 4 hours cook time.

Can't speak for that particular sammy, it's from their Facebook page. But I've eaten three of them now, and no dry eggs! Everything on their menu is huge and amazing. Just as good as any food I've had south of the border.

Only a short drive for me. I'd annihilate that thing with a nice aqua fresca.

Naw, that’s the cadillac of tortas. Simple done right is the hardest thing to accomplish in the cooking world.

Lets see your torta.

There was a Mexican place few block away of me. They had huge milanesa tortas. First time I ordered, I asked for fries too, Big mistake. I barely finished the sandwich. I wish I have a photo.

I was just in Mexico City and San Miguel de allende for a few weeks and goddamn if I didn’t drink all the Aqua fresca at the markets. You have to hydrate in M.C. it’s like 7000 feet up. Aqua fresca in the day then some casa dragones tequila in the evening. You see more mexican ufo’s the more tequila you drink.

Im telling you, this is serious business. You remember the name of the place?

Stuff is amazing. I like the hibiscus but there are so many regional preparations it's impossible to have them all.

It was located in a little mall. I found the spot for you. Not the same owner and it has new name, it's called "Lupita's ". I have to try it yet.
