I wasn't objecting.

I was pointing out that they have been crippled by not allowing them "to forcibly enter properties in order to make arrests". Why use the best team if you are not going to let them do what they are good at?

Graysen's post makes a good point, but, if they are just going to be used to set a set up a perimeter, is a team with no jurisdiction going to serve the warrants? Something doesn't jive.

ETA: I originally was asking why not use another federal team. Positing that it was for optics. Someone argued jurisdiction.

The thing we have to think about, in tandem with the positive is the negative. As we all know now, there are no absolutes, and that good as well as evil permeate all levels of power. What that means is, yeah it could be cool having guys "take out the trash," but, judging by their skillset, these guys are deep cover intelligence, with lots of Cia spook ties.... These guys probably have people embedded in many criminal organizations, or gain access to such possibilities. Like on the movie Sicario. And a common theme in some of these movies about organized crime, is that the FBI, CIA , whoever, employs an insider asset(s), gives them too many resources, intel, etc, and then they go rogues and exploit law enforcement and other privileges for personal gain. Remember, at least 2 sides to every coin.

Liberals lose family and friends to Illegal Aliens (murder, car wrecks, etc.) but they don't seem to care. Very sad!
