It would have to be a multi staged action (something that may be hard for them to handle considering.)
Disqualify everyone running but Tulsi.
Make Tulsi the face of the party.
Every politician who is a Democrat (hopefully the R's jump on board too) who has used the govt to profit themselves voluntarily donates all profits towards the "deficit."
They all retire immediately
Provide all details about the "hack" (leak) and all retaliatory measures that took place.
That would be a good start
FTR I have not Registered as an R but I am not a D Demexit 2016.
There is more that I would require to go back but I do not wish to derail the Thread

I don't know, but I'm ready to go back to conspiracy theories, aliens, ancient history, spirituality, weird stuff, and pulp science (non) fiction.

Today I heard a Democratic analyst say on a news show that the Democrats need to win over former Trump voters in order to win the Presidency.

I'm having trouble with their strategy. It appears the strategy is Shame/Guilt/Coerce I'm not sure this is a winning strategy. I was wondering if any of you are seeing a different strategy to gain the votes of people who voted for Trump in

Finally: What strategy do you see the Democratic 2020 candidates using that say to Trump voters/supporters, and people against late-term abortions, you should vote for us? Where am I missing the boat on this one?

Seems more like you are telling us, 'what the strategy is' However you are probably right to say that Democrats need to win over Trump supporters with the caveat of the electoral college's approval of course.

Methinks though that Trump is doing a damn good job of pooing in his own nest, and that the penny is starting to drop for many after recent events, Oh dear! that means a serious amount of pro Trump propaganda is required...and now!

Dqnt wqrry, he's gqt sqme gqqd stuff saved up and ready tq gq fqr this electiqn year. The prqpaganda will be tqp shelf

There is only 1 possible winning strategy for the Dems. And its one I'd rather not even think of, lest I accidentally manifest it into reality, or hop onto that timeline where it takes place... let alone say it aloud or type it and send it out to the collective consciousness.

If Dems strategy is to win over Trump and former Democrat voters they are doing a very bad job, because all they are doing is pissing people off, not to mention their own base as well.

The billionaires and CEOs have gone too far. We have way too many monopolies and cartels. We have no free-markets. We need STRONG government again like we had in FDR to address of the injustices going on. Time to stop the corporation and billionaire socialism. Time to bring back Clinton era tax rates of 39% so we have a budget surplus again.
.

Umm, a solid no on that. Considering what FDR did in office the last thing we need is a repeat. But I'm sure many liberals wax nostalgic for those days.

OK, I get that you don't live in America so may be a little fuzzy about our politics and what is going on right now.

For instance, you clearly don't understand our concept of an electoral college.

However, in the really real world of American politics, Trump appears to be ahead by a few thousand political points right now...

Given to him by the Democratic party, no less.

The title of the OP should have been "Democratic analysts ask why the Democratic party WANTS Trump to win."

But Trump is in trouble now to you?

Buhahahahaha!!!!

Thanks for that and see you (hopefully) here in his second term.

Its a numbers game with the Electoral Collage

The Democrats need to take back some fo the states that Trump won in order to claim the presidency. 40% of the country votes Democrat, 40% votes GOP and the rest kind of go back and forth depending on the particular issues and stances of the candidates.

Its clear that if the Dems do the same kind of nonsense and drift way way to far left, then its going to be an easy election for the Trump/Pence campaign. If they go with a moderate they stand a much better chance IMHO

You do realize that actual working Americans will naturally reject socialism.

Bernie can't win a general election with 25% of the voters.

But I hope like hell he will win the Democratic primary this time.

The debates alone will set back the Progressive agenda for a generation.

Oh my god I cannot stop laughing. The "analyst" may as well have just said,

"In order to win we need to get more votes than Trump does"

Good god these are some of the stupidest people.

BTW...no one who voted for Trump will ever flip to support a democrat. IMO for every public Trump supporter there are another 10 secret Trump supporters who are just to afraid of ridicule to make it known.

Trump will be re-elected POTUS.

It is really simple. If you get more votes, (especially EC ones) you win.

It is a bit of a waste of effort to promote yourself to people who will vote for you anyway. So, to get more people to vote for you, you have to appeal to people who didn't vote for you last time, in the hope that they will be convinced and will vote for you.

No shame, guilt or coercion involved.

You seem to be as lost as your party. It's been pretty prevelent in the MSM that democrats are telling the democrats to get their shlt together because they are going to lose CURRENT dem votes.

The dems are so confused and so lost because they spent 4 years in a fabricated NON STOP hate campaign that will result in 2 things.

1. Put doubt into the minds of the previous dem voters that were on the fence. Those votes they have now lost.
2. Thinking they can convert a Trump vote into a dem vote is an absolute joke of a "strategy".

Every one of the dem candidates are polar opposites of the policies Trump has put into place. People who voted for Trump voted for him because of his policies.

So your and your party's supreme logic is to convince people who voted for Trump (because of his policies) that they (the Trump voters) held a belief in to abandon those policies (the ones the Trump voters want) in favor of policies that are the complete opposite of the policies they wanted in the first place?

hahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahaahahaha!

WOW! No wonder you guys are losing on all fronts.

Not my party. I'm not even American.

And the polls seem to be wobbling back and forth at the moment. On Monday, the Dems were polling better, on Tuesday, the Republicans. Despite the repeated assertion of Trump supporters on ATS that Trump is so far ahead.

Polls....LOL. aka...more mocking bird media's weak attempt to influence the public. I remember a poll in 2016 where Hillary Clinton was polling at 95% chance to win the presidency. That worked out well.

The left is cratering.

So what do you use to determine Trump's popularity across America?

Or is just your little group of people in your little corner and the propagandist MSM that informs you?
