That's not really the issue with a disease though.

What's the fatality percentage of the yearly flu victims?

Don't get me wrong this is mostly doom porn and ATS loves it... I remember being on the recieving end of a guy going absolutely mental over ebola. His sister had super duper information and I just had to laugh, even offered to eat my hat if the US deaths were 1/100 or something of flu deaths yearly.

If I was American it would get old. But I'm not and so I can still find humour in the over reactions.

Oh and if you're reading this? You Sir need to pay up on your bet... Yes, You Sir 😂

Good old fear mongering in full effect, meanwhile a British guy who contracted the virus and spread it to others is now been discharged from hospital and is back at home.

While it's still up in the air if this will spread uncontrollably (and it could), where even a 1% fatality rate would be devastating, can't get too worked up about a single person, not yet anyway.

But.. can't use the British guy as an example. He seemed to be a super-spreader, and they often oddly don't get very sick at all, but spread it like crazy.

I can try but it's an effort ha.

I left a good old clue in my post though. A few people went daft over ebola.

Thanks for the info.

But, there are truly some morons here.

Anyone with more than one brain cell can see that this is bad and going to get much worse before it's over.

Not sure what their agenda is, but I do know I will pay little to no attention to their posts on other topics or in other threads.

Asshats & morons - they seem to come out of the woodwork in times of crisis.

But it's always good to know who they are.

"Deadly bug"? I thought only 2 out of 100 died.

Well, it actually says she was taken to a hospital in London, so I'm assuming she travelled to London.

I think the jest is Coronavirus isn’t good. But why the hysteria when the regular flu season is much deadlier. Why worry about Coronavirus when most individuals in the bulk of countries are more likely to die of the flu. Or even more likely to die in a car wreck. But, you know. Doom porn.

The DWP have a higher mortality rate than Choronovirus.

They are the ones that will cause cries of "bring out your dead".
