How is Bernie socialist? you guys make no sense with this label. He is a democratic socialist. Is universal healthcare socialist? If so, France, Canada, Australia, Germany, Israel amongst many others have universal healthcare so they are socialist. Pure socialism is where the state controls every aspect of the economy so Bernie is no where close to this as he is not remotely suggesting taking over private enterprise other then where it applies to basic human rights so no he is not gonna take over any other services or industries. He wants to go after big corporations that screw us as in wall street banksters and the health care oligarchs. Implementing social programs is not socialist. If so, the USA is already socialist and has been for quite a while. If you don't like him fine but don't call him a socailist and compare him to mao and stalin cause you sound really unintelligent.

Is he a Democratic Socialist or a Social Democrat..? There's a huge difference..!!

He portrays himself as a Democratic socialist and as such, then his ultimate goal is not to reform the current Capitalist structure, but to replace it with Socialism (weather he makes that clear or not).

So who here is not all that intelligent..?

If someone cant distinguish the difference between Democratic Socialism and Social Democratic ideology, one should probably refrain from calling other people dumb, because that's just the pot calling the kettle black..! lol

Could you old people, who still seem to suffer from the Cold War being waged inside their heads, explain to us SJW's how and why "affordable healthcare" would be communist but the Swiss is not?

Do you even listen to yourself whilst twisting your pants?

If you support Trump, you support racism. If you support Trump, you support bigotry. If you support Trump, you support intolerance. If you support Trump, you support the one percent that all of us on this website are not even close to being a part of.

Job well done, lemmings.

You pay three times as much now for less.

Explain to me how paying less for more is a bad thing? Either I'm too capitalist for your inconsistencies, or you're just ill informed and full of it.

Put up or shut up! You wont get free stuff in this debate!

Switzerland is a small homogenous country with high paying jobs and a strong tax base. We are a country of 400 million mostly low paid low educated workers. We don't have the job or tax base to provide universal health care, I wish we did but we don't. Taxing the rich wont fix it either they are only one percent of the population and the revenue stream taxing them to death would provide wont be enough to insure everyone or provide free college. We would be better off taxing unhealthy food and habits and using that revenue to give a subsidy to healthy food and health enhancing projects to make people healthier.

The sick thing is there's probably a fair number of you people who would really like to see that happen.

The sad thing is seeing all those Christian quotes at the bottom of your post.

What kind of weasel yoga does one have to practice in order to square thoughts of killing your fellow citizens with your faith?

I guess you missed this interview where Bernie says he is a socialist. Should I take his word for it, or should I take your word? Is Bernie a socialist? Or is he a liar?

Bernie: "I am a socialist"

Now... this is where I ask you if ignorance is truly bliss... So, is it?

We've heard that "prediction" from enough people on the right to know it's more than just some innocent observation.

There is also Bernie's "Economic Bill of Rights", which he plagiarized from Stalin's 1936 Soviet Constitution.

Personally I am not worried about a civil war breaking out between the left and the right in this country.

One side has over 300,000,000 firearms and over 1,000,000,000,000 rounds of ammunition...

The other side needs safe spaces to protect them from opinions they don't agree with. And they have no clue which bathroom to use.

A civil war between the left and the right in America would be a very intense, and possibly entertaining 15-20 minutes.
