Well, this is interesting.

www.nbcnews.com...

Stone was convicted of one count of obstructing an official proceeding, five counts of making false statements to Congress, and one count of witness tampering.

The lead prosecutor in Roger Stone's criminal case is Aaron Zelinsky, who was a top Mueller deputy.

Could it be that there might be evidence of prosecutorial misconduct that prompted these resignations?

Why are Comey, Brennan and Clapper still walking free? Didn't they lie under oath as well?

Prosecutors in charge of the federal case against Roger Stone may have lied to the Department of Justice about their lengthy prison sentence recommendation for Stone, according to a new report.

“The Department was shocked to see the sentencing recommendation in the filing in the Stone case last night,” the DOJ official reportedly told Fox. “The sentencing recommendation was not what had been briefed to the Department.”

DOJ has not announced whether it will seek legal or ethical sanctions against any of the attorneys who allegedly lied to DOJ about their rogue sentencing scheme against Roger Stone. In a filing submitted late Tuesday evening, DOJ said the original sentencing memorandum did not reflect the position of the U.S. government and that a nearly decade-long sentence for a non-violent first-time criminal would be inappropriate.

What is more beautiful as a self draining swamp ?

Wouldn't it be great to get a siphon effect.

Trump needs to give him a pardon for Christmas along with a few million dollars out of his own pocket to recoup legal fees.

Nice, these were Rogue Prosecutors.

Make no mistake, Stone may definitely be guilty of whatever it is he may have done, but a decade in prison?

CNN coverage is missing so this is all a lie.

Opinion. Or simply because they prosecuted a crime from someone in Trump's orbit, with which you disagree?

Make no mistake, he was found guilty.

but a decade in prison?

Well within the sentencing for the crimes for which he was found guilty, which includes witness tampering in a federal trial.

4 down and 200 more to go.

The DOJ is heavily infiltrated with anti-Trump and old guard Democrat operatives 😎

Looks like somebody set somebody up this time 😃

CNN didn't get tipped-off this time so their cameras and special report efforts failed 😃

CNN and MSNBC are livid, because "Trump's corrupt AG William Barr" is using the country's focus on the New Hampshire Primary as cover for carrying out their crime spree.

I guess Democrats want to prove that they can do something right (NH Primary), and Trump/Barr are distracting them, LOL.

No more tips for CNN. Their co-conspirators in the D.C. Swamp are being removed...a few at a time..under the radar.

70 Butt-hurt Obama holdovers were removed from the National Security Council (where the Vindman twins and Ciaramella worked), this past Friday!

More Trump corruption, and remember once the precedent is set, then ANY DOJ can interfere with any sentencing. That would have made an interesting Epstein verdict wouldn't it. If this is where ya'll want to go, so be it. But this is pretty dangerous, and Republicans, as much as you'd like to think so, you will eventually lose to a Dem. Do you really want to give that power to any party? Really?

And it's now all four prosecutors. Answer me this, if Obama did this, would it be ok. If so, fine, but remember that next time a Dem is in the office.

If they'd convicted Stone of making false statements to congress.

Schiff,Nadler,Pelosi, and a whole lot of others would be convicted right along with him.

Stone,Flynn,Manafort. All would be political prisoners.

Did you post this with a straight face? Because you have got to be joking.

Obama's DOJ let criminals run the country FFS.
Rotten broke how many laws and didn't even get charged with a crime?

Does this happen to ring any bells?

What about Fast and Furious?

Does that one ring any bells?

Hello? Anyone home?

Hit the nail on the head with the first response. There is a generations long process for resolving this issue and that is NOT to have the Administration and Justice Department get involved. The prosecution gives an opinion on what the sentence would be, the judge decides if its fair or not and makes their decision based on circumstance whether she would agree with it or not.

The charade that Stone led on during his trial didn't help his case either and im quite certain that anyone playing the games he did would have a higher than average sentence. But no, im sure every prosecutor that rules against anyone in Trump's Orbit just a deep state anti-Trump hater. This is just pathetic at this point, I got nothing for anyone that isnt disturbed by Barr and the administrations actions in the last several weeks.

No because Obama didn't run on draining the swamp, but Trump did. Hopefully those four prosecutors know some good Defensive Attorneys.
