Point is, you can't give addicts MORE freedoms and reduce the freedoms of anyone else.

What extra freedoms do they have?

some places, others insist you should run away, if you cant run give them whatever they want, they still not happy accept your beating because your probably racist...

I may have gotten a little sarcastic towards the end, I am still salty from being told if a guy kicks in the door to my house (while living in germany) the law said I was supposed to run out the back door leaving my pregnant wife upstairs.

Just shoot the dealers, protecting the kids are a good thing.

What if the dealer is a kid?

The ability to do drugs, whatever they want with no repercussions.

Isn't that what we fought for? What business do you have in another's personal life?

It should never have been made illegal, essentially criminalizing addiction which is a medical issue.

People that want drugs criminalized and drug users punished are basically authoritarian douchebags.

Absolutely none!

As long as they don't interfere with my life? I'm cool with it.

But they don't have a right to infringe upon my rights, if they do, I can just exercise my 2nd Amendment right.

Not a fan of Pete.... The dude reeks of establishment shill to me.

But if someone says something I agree with, I gotta say if I think it's right.

I say decriminalize it and offer help to them. There can be ways of instilling accountability without slapping someone with a felony because they have a drug problem and setting an environment for failure and relapse.

You can view people as weak just because they got addicted to an illegal drug... Plenty of people struggle with their legal prescriptions and otc alcohol though.

If you view that as weakness, I don't expect to change your mind. But keeping them in the "system" costs money. 30,000~ a year for prison in many cases, a good chance of welfare, and then re-institutionalization. All because they picked the wrong thing to cope with, when alcohol and xanies from doc is perfectly fine.

The war on drugs, and our own.

Keep dealing illegal, decriminalize use, but put them somewhere to get help.

Okay, now we're getting somewhere. Is this about drugs or your preconceived notion that drug use makes people violent, like some reefer madness snip?

In this very thread you were talking about murdering dealers. Dealers of what? Weed? Alcohol? Caffeine? The next burista is a target?

What's a drug? Who defines it?

You want the government to have power over what you put in your body?

That's not freedom.

Smoking the toke-weeds will cause criminal behaviour. It's been studied over and over.

As far as drugs go, I really don't care what someone does, I just want the ability and FREEDOM to protect me and mine from the criminals who commit crime to pay for their drug habbits.

And you don't think drug dealers should be shot on sight.

Why?

His behavior and ethics pretty much just show what happens when...you do too many drugs.

'Hi, I'm running for President and once I'm in the Big House, errrr, I mean the White House? YOU CAN DO ALL THE DRUGS YOU WANT' - now VOTE FOR ME'!

Heavy sigh.
