Rather vote for El Chapo. We can do next Woodstock Festival in the WH too. What a joke are these democrats. I not even know what to say.

WALLACE: Mayor, you not only want to decriminalize marijuana, you want to decriminalize all drug possession. You say that the better answer isn't (ph) incarceration -- I mean, rather treatment, not incarceration.

BUTTIGIEG: That's right.

WALLACE: -- but isn't the fact that it's illegal to have -- to possess meth and heroin, doesn't that at least in some way, the fact that's illegal, act as a -- some deterrent to actually trying it in the first place?

BUTTIGIEG: Well, I think the main thing we need to focus on is where you have distribution and the -- the kind of harm that's done there. Well, yes, of course, it's important that it remain illegal but --

WALLACE: But you would decriminalize it, so it wouldn't be illegal?

BUTTIGIEG: Possession should not be that dealt through incarceration and - -

WALLACE: But you would say that possession heroin is not illegal?

BUTTIGIEG: It's not going to be dealt with through incarcerations.

WALLACE: But your -- your website says decriminalize. It would not be illegal?

BUTTIGIEG: Yes. Or it could be a misdemeanor.

Good. More freedom for me.

We can do next Woodstock Festival in the WH too

Only if we truly lived in a free society could something that awesome ever happen.

I agree with him. The war on drugs has been lost. It's an open wound. These people need help, rather than be kicked when down.

I say decriminalize it, end treatment programs and make it legal to shoot to kill anyone who tries to mug, assault, rob you.

I guarantee that the population of heroin and meth users will drop dramatically.

The difference between Freedom and addiction is :

You can die for your Freedom.

Your Addiction can kill you.

That's a big misconception that users are criminals. I know a lot of users and ex-users. The worst crime any of them committed was breaking into a pharmacy. What he took was his own prescription for blocking opiates...

ETA: and he left the money.

I say as long as they have a designated area to get stoned on that where they can't hurt others, nor that they use heavy equipment for the same reason, then we should let em. Set them up a camp and give it away. Then those that are hooked that want to stop, we help them get off. But the rest of us don't need them stealing and assaulting people for a fix. Once they decide to live like that we need to give them an area to do this that is isolated from the rest of us for their and our safety.

We should have a separate island for people who use caffeine.

The only thing that making drugs illegal does is hold up the price.
If there were no money in importing and selling drugs, you'd eliminate the drug trade.

You could then use the money to offer free treatment for those unfortunate enough to be caught up in the drug habit

Drugs have been illegal my whole life yet they are still readily available wherever I have lived.

You know that would be impossible unless you give them an island.

Make people really pay big for it if they want it...
create a place where they can go check in receive their drug of choice...
Contain them in said facility insuring their safety and all others in said location...
Provide numerous forms of entertainment, may as well have a casino there...
Drain them of all money then... when they have hit rock bottom...
send them next door to the treatment program which they have also already paid for...
Not many would go for a round two...

The drugs that are dangerous are the ones I say are dangerous. Buy bleach. Don't do weed. *shakes fist*

Y'all are goddamn nuts.

Point is, you can't give addicts MORE freedoms and reduce the freedoms of anyone else.
