I've been watching this on and off for the last few hours... there have been some interesting things going on, there is clearly rain in the cam, but there's something else that I can see... It's been going on at least a few hours now so I'm not anticipating it stopping just yet

Not familiar with this, can you describe what you are seeing?

Are you talking about those little glowey things, or is there something else you're talking about?

You can see them in the daylight hours as well as the night time videos. They might be debris coming off of the ocean since nobody either sees them or are not bothered by them. They look neat, I wonder if anyone has any idea as to what they are.

Also it's kind of cool watching the waves blow over the area in the video.

The “glowy” things are clearly foam spraying up from the rough sea. I was down by the coast today and foam was flying everywhere, the car is well and truly coated in salt now!

Porthcawl always makes the local press during bad weather due to the Harbour's exposed location.
Fun to watch from a distance but those waves can be dangerous.
