Late 90's flew non-stop Honolulu/Atlanta on L-1011 and recollect 764mph ground speed due strong jet stream.

Inbound from ATL the AC had to set down un-scheduled in LA for refueling. Got watch on ramp oil pump change-out on rear engine at Honolulu. We boarded and deplaned 2 times before that was fixed.

I'm pretty sure they replaced down to the seat pan to get the stain out. Heh. IIRC it was a Hawkeye, so depending on their fuel state they didn't have a choice but to get it on the deck.
