V1. Nancy P. Losey fought against starting impeachment proceedings in the house all summer. It only happened when the Marxist youth brigade forced her into it. She stalled it last March, and stalled nearly til Christmas!!

2. By the time the committee to impeach the president was sending out subpoenas, it was already decided to abandon the effort. When the president ORDERED his people not to comply, the democrats just dropped it. Was this because they agreed they had no legal authority for a congressional committee to subpoena witnesses? Or because they were told to drop it?

3. Nancy said she was in a huge rush to pass the impeachment up to the senate. But once she had the papers there were delayed two weeks, while she tried to use them to blackmail Mitch McCconnell and the senate. He told her they were useless as a bargaining chip. He told her through a TV network microphone that the longer she stalled, the closer the dismissal would be to the July Democrat convention. Then within 3 days she delivered the papers she had just threatened to hold indefinitely.

4. Senate judiciary said if the witness list in the senate was going to be opened, they wanted to subpoena Bidens son, and maybe Biden himself. That settled it right there. Bidens people started to pressure Nancy, when they could see it jacking with the Iowa caucus.

5. Mitch told Democrat senators that if they passed a resolution to call witnesses they’d start with Biden.

6. Mitch told the dems, he would entertain a motion to call more witnesses and they could vote for it. But that republicans would kill it, and dems better not pressure republicans, or Biden would be the parade Marshall for the perp walk to the witness stand.

7. Biden has been hurt by the reps not forcing the issue, but letting online media question why there’s no investigation into Bidens bragging of blackmailing a foreign leader... Bidens 4th place showing in Iowa tells you what dems themselves think of him now.

So DJ Trump has already taken out the first Democrat front runner, and all before the Iowa Caucus. Brilliant!

Pretty much, concisely, sums it up.

Even an alcoholic, bat crap crazy, over the hill Nancy knew it was a losing strategy from the start.

In their desperation, the dims let blind hatred delude them into doing Trump a huge favor by tipping the first domino themselves.

Perhaps many on the far left thought that by throwing Biden under the bus, they would gain support for Warren or Sanders. The reality is, in Iowa anyway, that Joe's loss was directly Mayor Pete's gain.

Other, more centered dems, and apparently those in charge at the DNC, are actively trying to screw Bernie out of the nomination AGAIN!!!!!

The entertainment value is off the charts.

IMO, the DNC is just too hung over from decades of getting high - Bush.S? B.Clinton? Bush.J? Obama?
Try getting high for 30 some-odd years and then suddenly getting your supply cut off...

Withdrawal is a hell of a thing.

Unfortunately I'm not seeing any of the changes we need to see. Even if we stupidly agree to let the fiat currency farce continue, there is so much corruption and mismanagement feeding off of it that we could cut the tax overhead of the average working american in half if we simply enforced our own laws. Laws that have been on the books for generations- no need for new ones. We've got so many now that nobody can even estimate how many.

I mean, Go figure that a legal system created and run by lawyers would self-propagate its own rules to the point where you'd have to pay them to translate their mess into any sort of simple answer.... if anyone has any bright ideas on reducing our legal system to under a hundred laws, please start a thread.

DNC might as well stand for Do Not Care.
They're incompetent and outdated.
They exist to support a political party, and that political party exists to eat the working man to feed the leeches that cheer for the king.
I do not wish to see their attempts to rig elections succeed in my lifetime... I feel like the damage they've done so far might be reversible, but with the constitution already shredded and trampled into the cow path it's getting harder and harder to have any hope.

Bring back lynching- or at least the guillotine. Public execution of obvious traitors would make for a nice moral boost.

The Senate threw the impeachment.

And now trump, along with doing a victory dance is showing the puppet republicans what happens if you are not loyal to him.
They had a reason to vote to acquit. So they didn't face the wrath of Orange kong.
No justice was done. Only bullying and fear.

That's the truth and no one can say different with a straight face unless they are used to lying to themselves.

Or maybe you believe lies. It’s one of the two. Considering how often you’re wrong I’m going with the second option

But impeachment distracted the nation like it was supposed to. Democrats silently wrote and voted on controversial bills. Here is one that was passed mostly un-noticed last week by the U.S. House.

The House of Representatives passed a bill on Friday that would make illegal immigrants eligible for damages from their employer if their labor rights are violated.

Currently, illegal immigrants are not able to seek compensation from the NLRB if their rights are violated by their employers, which is something the bill aims to change along with attempting to allow illegal immigrants to be able to seek damages if they are wrongfully terminated.

The Federation for American Immigration Reform released a statement warning that this bill could prevent employers from firing an employee who is in the country illegally.

Logically speaking, what punishment could a removed President inflict on the Senate?

A very public Twitter badmouthing? He would have been removed. What power does a citizen Trump actually hold if removed from office that you or I don’t have? Campaign money isn’t a good answer because the spin would be “Trump Money” supports them.

A removed Trump was nothing for the Senate to fear.

It is up to the house to bring the case to the Senate and they did, and Trump's lawyers blew it up in under two hours on day one. Lets say for a moment that Trump was 100% guilty... The House failed at an extreme level to prove that even while holding secret partisan hearings in a sealed bunker, only calling the witnesses "they" wanted who the vast majority were hardly connected, I swear they hit at least 4 degrees of Kevin Bacon before they were done "I was told from a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy that talked to a guy"'. Then they did some kind of a dog and pony show of what far left Professors think and feel about Trump, and after all that nothing....

Pelosi knew all this before they even got started. They COULD NOT call all witnesses because that meant also witnesses the Right would want to. So Pelosi put presser on the Senate to call witnesses, but once again only the ones the House wanted...how insane is that? This was not a court of law...it was a court of Congress, big difference.
