Left Vs Right 2 party politics is hilarious.

I'd say never change 'Murica, but that's an obvious given.

Keep chasing your tails peeps. Keep being a pot and calling the kettle black. It never gets old.

See you in 4 or 5 years from now and we can do this all again and again and again.

lol seriously, you elect these people then you do nothing but bitch about them, they're all as bad as each other but you ignore your own.

The politicians aren't the real problem. It's you tax payers that let them do what they do and do nothing about it. You're the problem.

But again stating the obvious so peeps like me are just pissin' in the wind. Everything goes straight over your heads.

But sure, keep giving the bullies your lunch money and ask them to beat you up. Definitely worth it so you can go behind the bike shed and giggle about them aint it?

Would think you folks would realise by now. Democrat or Republican, Left or Right, under the current ways, no matter who you vote for you are just electing the same damn government over and over every time, regardless of who is in the 'big seat'.

It's the same in every supposed '2 party democracy' around the world. I'd say keep drinkin' the Kool Aid, but you're not just drinking it, you're making up the jugs and pouring yourself and everyone else a glass. TPTB don't even need to offer you a sip.

But as Lego says "everything is awesome when you're part of a team"....... it can be a # team, but as long as you feel like you're part of it, it's all good amiright?

God I need some more popcorn......

it is NOT left right politics. It is RIGHT verse WRONG.

It did start out as MODERATES on both sides taking grade school digs long before DJT who were laughing about it then. Now we have open Communists who wish to poop on our COTUS.

THAT is what you miss Kangaroo. COTUS is the target..

Used to be a commercial with Jim Varney (Earnest Goes To Jail) in it when I was a small child.

You have to love trump, he knows exactly how to antagonise the left and it makes me laugh as they just can’t help themselves from taking the bait every single time.

Having a president who knows how to troll socialists and makes a mockery of their fanciful plans for world domination is pure gold from where I’m sitting.

For all the folk on the left who question this man and call him an idiot, he seems to be handing down a real beating.

SJW meltdown incoming. Prepare your MAGA hats to cause maximum offence.

No "we" don't elect Pelosi.

Her district is San Francisco. ONLY those who live in that one, exact, city have ANY SAY WHATSOEVER on her being in office.

NOBODY ELSE GETS A VOTE.

So will you please quit saying it's everyone's fault she gets elected again and again?

It's only San Francisco's fault.

What, exactly, are we supposed to do about it?

Elect a President who will try to stop it?

Oh wait....

We already did that. His name was Donald Trump. They tried to impeach him.

mmm, I can taste the cherry flavour from the picking.

Context and generalization is lost on a lot of people isn't it.

I didn't say Pelosi. I said ALL OF THEM, 'Murica wide. WOrld wide. Politicians everywhere. Period.

But yep, wouldn't be ATS is people weren't completely rewriting everyone elses posts to suit themselves now would it.

Americans voted for the woman. Just as Americans voted for all the dip#s you've elected. Regardless of where in the country they live. Or does being in San Fran make those people Chinese?

Reading. More people should give it a try.

edit: what to do about it?

I dunno sit on your hands and whine online some more? That seems to be working.

Maybe someday some one will write up some laws and documents that tell you exactly what to do in these situations. Advice on baring arms and forming militias, that kind of thing.

All I know if whatever you do it'll actually require a little bit of effort and actually getting off of ones backside to accomplish.

God I wonder if you people are even trying or want to help your selves?

Each person you listed is identical in their situation. Schiff was elected by LA. Name any Congressperson you dislike, and take a look at their district. You'll see they were the inevitable choice of that particular demographic.

What's frustrating is knowing that I share the same country with those electorates.

It's not because people don't vote. It's because so many voters are idiots.

I can't kick the whole city of San Francisco out of the USA. I can't take up arms and fight about it (or well..... I guess I could but it wouldn't really change anything...)

But just because I have to share a country with those idiots doesn't mean I have to like it. And it doesn't mean I can't/oughtn't go online and whine about it.

It's either that or take a few shots of whiskey. But internet is cheaper.

When all you can do is anesthetize yourself, you got to pick your anesthesia carefully.

If you want to convince your fellow Americans to stop voting stupidly, the best armament you can give yourself is knowledge and especially EVIDENCE. Find all the strong evidence you can to support your position.

(Guns don't work on Americans. They're not afraid, and they usually have guns too.)

Just so happens that many of the same people that are belly aching on here, are also posting links to places where you can do some half decent research on the relevant topics.

(or well..... I guess I could but it wouldn't really change anything...)

And that right there sums it up.

I encounter this response more than any other when a problem arises in the modern world.
"what's the point? No use fighting, nobody listens, nothing changes..." and other similar excuses.

It's never our fault, it's always theirs....

And this is exactly why we're an insane species. We do the same things, or the same nothing to be more precise, over and over, then wonder why we don't get different results.

If we don't do something, then who will?

Same for the "Here's some links to research"

I've been linked, I've talked, I've been going around in circles with people for literally decades now.
"Let's talk more" "Let's read and look at stats more" "It's not that simple..."

How many more website articles and studies am I meant to read? How much longer am I meant to be discussing the same things I have been discussing since I was a teenager? At what point do we go "It's time to do something?"

I'm not American, but we have similar problems in my own country, every country has these issues, and very few exist where the 'people' actually do anything about it. (Although here in Australia there isn't such a huge divide between states here as in the U.S Here each state is pretty similar, where as every U.S state seems to act like it's own country.)

Doesn't even need to be a violent revolution. Doesn't necessarily require guns. But it does require actual action. (look at Iceland)

I've been ready to go for years. But I am just one man. I have tried to get the ball rolling but am always met with the same excuses I mentioned above.

People will agree things need to change, I say 'well let's go change them' but get 'nah that would require effort and sacrifice, let's just whine some more on facebook and hope the broken fixes itself'

Imagine how America would be today if this attitude was taken during the War for Independence or the American Civil War.
Imagine how Australia would be if the miners of the 'Eureka Stockade' just took out ads in the local paper saying "England sucks!" and nothing else instead of fighting the powers that be.

The governments don't need to step on our necks, we step on our own for them.

Just getting tired of seeing these same discussion over and over and the same results every time.

Politicians suck, government is broken. But hey let's just keep voting for the same people and parties over and over and hope it will change and nothing else.....

We fight among ourselves, we point blame at each other instead of going after the ones responsible.

"Oh it's not my fault, I live in Kentucky and voted for the RIGHT person.... It's the people in San Francisco at fault! They voted for the WRONG person."

Pass the buck and blame. We're all responsible. It's no more 'their' fault than it's 'ours', just easier to look at flaws in others than ourselves. Just easier to pass blame than take responsibility.
And it's exactly what the politicians want, love and rely on.

While we're on the net bitching and pointing fingers at each other at least we're not going after them hey?
Even worse is they can do it right in front of us, we know they're doing it, but they know we'll choose to ignore it.

We've been engineered to perfection.

Seriously for folks like me, all these conversations are like watching a ship sink and seeing people drown because they're too busy saying "Well I could save myself, but I think I'll just wait until someone comes and piggy backs me to a life boat"

Just wish people would stop complaining they're drowning when they're not even trying to swim.

Every day, every week, every month, every year. All I see is the same old #.

Stop drowning and save yourselves.
Superman aint coming.
Otherwise please do everyone else a favour and just drown in silence.

Our 'forefathers' would be rolling in their graves.
They gave us these countries and this is what we do with it?

If Pelosi is bad for the country, GET RID OF HER, if Trump is bad for the country GET RID OF HIM. If anyone is bad for your country do the same.
If the system is broke and cannot fix itself, get rid of it and put in a system that works. FOR EVERYBODY.

The solutions are simple. What is lacking is people willing to make the required effort.
But yeah if you don't need to do what needs to be done, stop complaining it's not being done. Please just stop.

Kangaroo I would say the real problem you two have brought to light that I also see is the ignorant voters. We either patiently educate them with facts or they will never have a chance to get it. The background noise of the mass brain washing spin miesters is roaring like the day after a rain at Niagara Falls.
