White House fires Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman
Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, an adviser on the national security counsel who testified in the impeachment trial, was fired from his post.

Here's his lawyers spin...

“Today, Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman was escorted out of the White House where he has dutifully served his country and his President,” said his attorney, David Pressman in a statement. “LTC Vindman was asked to leave for telling the truth.”

The news comes just hours after Donald Trump told reporters that he is “not happy with him” and made vague comments saying “they’ll make that decision” about whether he would be keeping his job.

Good move. He explicitly advised Ukranian officials not to listen to the President. You could tell from his testimony what an arrogant self important man Vindman is. His brother needs to be fired also.

And the reprisals begin.
Moral of the story?
Dare to tell the truth and you get punished.

Good riddance. He was an embarrassment to all the uniforms, as well as the services he "served".

He took an oath to uphold the constitution, as well as serve his countrymen - not the highest bidder.

Is that the sad sack cabbage patch doll lookin fella with a twin brother?

He comes across as supremely arrogant, like Comey. $50 says he will bring a 'tell all' book out before the election.

He literally told a foreign power never mind what the president said. We'll figure this out.
I'm pretty sure there's a word for that....

I certainly hope this will not be the last of the reprisals for the attempted coup against the US Govt.
I'd also hope the penalties will be more severe than just being fired.

His brother needs to be fired aswell?

Why not make his whole family disappear, while you're at it, being all righteous

I don't know if what he said was true, if he was coaxed, or if what he said had any pertinence to how our country is being run.

Id bet a lot of money that if he testified against a left leaning admin he'd be celebrated by many who are going to sling mud on his name and service. I'd bet even more there would be outrage if he was fired from said admin afterwards.

Personally I don't think people should be fired so long as they are telling the truth about their superiors (again, I don't know if that's the case here). If you're good at your job, than that's what matters.

Yes his brother needs to be fired.
Too risky having him reviewing documents.

He should be demoted to sub-Private and sent to Syria to look for landmines, After testifying against co-conspirators, Eric Ciaramella and Adam shiff.

He undermined the POTUS by telling Ukranian officials that they should ignore him.
That had nothing to do with his testimony - and everything to do with his sense of self importance and disrespect. He obviously can not hold that position if he is going to counter the Presidents orders.

This is great but there needs to be legal action against him.

Exactly. That is why CNN MSNBC and even Fox News are able to ignore the story. Just like they did when Peter strzok was escorted out of the building.
