I must admit...

I thought Mitt would acquit.

But, he is even more thin skinned than I thought.

Like the coward he is he split his vote.

I hope his foot gets stuck in a car elevator.

This just looks petty.

Is this the end for Mitt ?

Remember, he was prayerful...

prior to this, he was pretty much a douche, now he's a complete bag/hose/nozzle array.

Is there a deeper subject to all of this or are people just mad they cast their personal vote against the grain?

We all knew the senate would acquit trump even with overwhelming evidence, but isn't that a rather scary thought, isn't this how kings are seen by their lords or something?

And to think, so many of us thought he was the lesser of two evils at some point.

Guess a man that puts a dog on a car roof cant be trusted after all.

The overwhelming evidence showed that Trump did nothing impeachable and that Biden is the guilty one.

Awwww come on... Let's give credit where credit is due: Schiff stuck the knife in, Pelosi twisted it, and Romney poured salt in the wound...

And President Trump is still standing tall and proud.

Tee hee hee!

He voted for on one count and against on the other, trying to play both sides. If he were consistent I don't think it would be as much of an issue because he would have voted on principle, but by splitting his vote he simply looks like a typical duplicitous politician. Please note that the entire issue was simply a partisan stunt along party lines. That right there tells you people were not voting their conscience. Pelosi told the Dems how to vote and they, meekly or otherwise, followed her direction. If not, they would wind up not getting party support for their next election in a few months. (All representatives have two year terms.)

I thought about that. There's a distinct divide, obviously. Shame really.

I just did not know the full details of the politics behind why some voted to not acquit.

Did you notice how he made sure to tell us all that Trump's defense had no evidence of Biden or his son having done anything wrong in Ukraine?

He really needed to add that? I knew at that point what he was going to do and why.

He is trying to protect his own ties to the laundering scheme.

Scummy Mitt

Mitt is going to get a real sore crotch ridding the fence. I hope he looses his seat next election. A recall would be even better.

Someone should remind Mitt that pride is a sin in the church of latter day saints .

It's not the vote , it is the reasoning behind the vote that counts.

Romney is neck-deep in the same corruption as Biden. Their kids sit on the boards of the same companies, getting paid for nothing other than because they serve as a conduit for bribes and illegal campaign donations.

Yeah, Mitt's not a Republican bright spot, but it appears that he maybe a Democrat wet spot.
