Consistently losing EVERY turn, EVERY day, EVERY argument

No wonder you leftists are so bitter and angry and gutted all the time

The end of the tunnel is in sight though - 2028 Presidential election just might be yours for the taking

But I highly doubt it

It’s not hard to be smug and condescending. Anyone can do it. Doesn’t make you correct though.

True...although I wasn't being smug nor condenscending. I was simply making an observation.

If you are happy your favorite politician is "winning" than some other is loosing. It is exactly this notion that is being fed...tribal politics.

Peace

You came in this thread defining “sheeple”.
Not even Trump could get away with calling people sheeple and claiming it isn’t condescending.

That’s undeniable

His approval numbers are a whole lot closer to 100% than Gallup says, that’s for sure

After his very impressive day at the SOTU address his numbers will definitely be higher

And the predictably pathetic behaviour and attitude of the dEms in the SOTU has definitely guaranteed their numbers will plummet even farther (if that’s possible)

My M-I-L hates Donald Trump, is vocal about it, and has been since he's been elected. Well she came to me last night, and asked me if I watched the SOTU. Confused, I asked why. She was beaming with praise for the president. Slowly an anti-Trumper has come around. Not by me discussing politics with her, I avoid that at all costs, but just by his actions and the results. There is still hope.

The more they try to harm him, the stronger he becomes. They do not understand this yet. They will soon.

Ever since the 2016 election I have had zero faith in polls. But I’m cautiously optimistic he’ll be re-elected based on many things. The incredible turnout he gets at each of his rallies. The ridiculous candidates the dems are running against him. The booming economy. Desertions from the Democratic Party by blacks, Hispanics, gays and heterosexual whites. I’ll be on pins and needles come election night, but if we don’t have a recession before then or some other national calamity, I like our chances.

Right, but he won 2016 with only about 38%, lol. What do you think 49% means for 2020. Derp.

There is no 'end of tunnel'. End of tunnel would mean hope. But dems are classic syndrome of group narcissism. These people want to perpetuate superiority and control to feed their demand of 'supply' who is ultimately all of us.

We should expect another set up attempt but that will fail too because narcissists are delusional..detached from reality, easy to see through but they belive it's not...so the show will go on until most loud mouth put through some sort of psychological evaluation.

I am personally amused at times...once we know the motive we would know a counter in advance and so on. Probably makes me a little cynical isn't it?

I think it means that more than half of those who were polled don't approve of him as President.

Every President has had relentless opposition.

It comes with the territory.

You actually believe that the opposition to Trump has been like the opposition to other Presidents, and not the ramped up hate fest that has been shown abundantly since Trumps won? So everyone shouldn't believe what they see?

Yes, I actually believe that the opposition to Trump has been exactly like the opposition to other Presidents. Except that now it can be echoed a bit more on social media.

Didn't Trump chant "lock her up" and also suggest that Obama's birth certificate was fake? What about the suggestion that Michelle Obama was a man and that Barrack was gay?

Seems like those things were leveled against other politicians, even Presidents. Have you forgotten that? Trump's campaign was built on equal parts self-promotion and slander.

Perhaps Trump gets as good as he gave?

Have you ever seen the news media so bitterly opposed to a president before? For three straight years and even before he took office? I’m 63, and I have never seen anything remotely like it. And when you add the almost universal anti-Trump bias of social media, Google search, YouTube, academia and the TV and film industry, I don’t see how anyone can think the opposition is no worse than in previous administrations.

There are 2 kinds of polls:

- polls that politicans use to guide their decisions. Because lets face it...none of them (other than maybe Bernie) have the stones to act on their own conviction. They will only act if they think its politically expedient, even if it goes against their personal viewpoints
- polls fed tot he public so the fallacy of the mob can control our decisions.

We only see the latter. Its all propaganda meant to guide you to a decision that they want. Whoever "they" are.

Yes. I distinctly remember the anti Bush (Hitler, warmonger) and anti Obama (Muslim communist, born in Kenya) hatred on here and throughout the country. Before that who can forget the anti Clinton hate. I just believe it's the division in this country that has grown so much every year that has led us to where we are now.

When have the news media ever not carried stories critical of political leaders?

If my recollection is anything to go by, the majority of the 2016 campaign-related social media was anti-Hillary and anti-DNC.

You may have convinced yourself of that but the free press has always opposed, and been critical of, whoever has happened to be in power at the time.
