I just got back from Oxford from a meeting that I really didn’t want to attend, although it does mean more income for the family which at the end of the day is most important. Unfortunately I had to take the train today but made sure I took as much precaution as possible, yet with everything we know regarding it’s ability spread, I noticed just how shockingly easy it is for hundreds to get infected within minutes.
Where I live has two major transport routes running through that connect large parts of the country; the M40 motorway connecting London to Birmingham and trains that run from Newcastle/Manchester to Bournemouth/London and back. Add to that the outbreak in Bicester (17 miles away, includes heavy Chinese presence) Brackley (9 miles), the quarantine in MK (25 miles away) and patients in Oxford (22 miles, includes heavy Chinese presence)... I’m going to suggest to the family today that we stay put as best we can for this week and half term next week until we know more.
Thanks everyone for your food & equipment stock suggestions.
It’s getting far too close for comfort

If you feel the need to go to A&E for flu symptoms then it isn't mild - mild would be stop at home in bed or go to doctors at worst - not go to hospital.

No, a common misconception is that the median is the midway in range, actually it's the middle number.
So if you had 1, 3, 5, 6, 10, 100, 101
The median is 6.

I was thinking earlier that if Locusts can catch this virus, that is going to cause huge spread in Africa right now.
This happened once before apparently. In Biblical times.

The locusts wouldn't catch it. The very most they might do is carry contaminated matter on their feet from place to place. Sort of like ants can.
