A lot of colds going around currently I know people for a good 20 mile radius and everybody I know seems to have a horrible cold or know someone with it, hopefully just common cold but when SNIP is happening this close and knowing how this virus rapidly spreads can’t help but get abit jittery, first confined case in MK and I’m GONEEEE

Goddamn, pandemics seem to attract caustic, argumentative doofuses like corn attracts deer.

I’m still surprised our area north of Oxford and west of MK isn’t hit, with Bicester Village luxury outlet being the 2nd most visited place in England by the Chinese. I’ve got a meeting in Oxford on Tuesday and would rather not take the train and bus to get there. My car got written off last year thanks to a taxi and really to get a new one, so having to rely on public transport in this area is not ideal right now.

It's grim, but if you want an idea, a real idea, watch this. Take the time to really watch it and absorb. If this gets out and storms through. This is what we face.

One thing to understand, this is all *just* the flu. At no point was the Spanish Flu anything but the flu. It just got super nasty.

And this thing we're looking at now, is just a corona virus. We suffer from these things all the time. This one is just a nasty one, and we will survive it too.

Later on, they get into what happened in Philadelphia and think about what we hear about Wuhan and their situation. Then think about whether or not you think your area will do any better. It took 13,000 in Philadelphia.

Towns in Colorado self-quarantined ... we hear about this now in China.

San Fran was spared the worst, but it also acted aggressively before there were any cases. They had a face mask rule and enforced it *at gun point* actually shooting those who refused.

Truly, I urge everyone to invest the time it takes to watch this.

An example:
Shipping Containers can take a set amount of time at sea. You'd need to know the length of the travel route, 30 days, 15 days... So the time it takes a ship to make it to the destination is to be considered. I'd think they would have plenty of time to know if someone on the ship crew gets sick in route so that they do not risk contamination by getting off ship and risk spreading but instead going to quarantine.

The actual containers pass through customs and I would think they may go through some sort of fumigation process and viruses may be covered in this process ? Plenty of time has passed so hopefully the product is safe to handle ? Have they determined how long the virus can live on a solid non living surface ?

Crazy video from a wuhan hospital

Guys, this video is crazy. It shows 10 dead in a matter of minutes, and even shows 1 as his last breath was taken. Whomever filmed this has balls of steel. It is a must see, and really shows the level of death in the hotzone.
